  • skinty you just concentrate on you and the soon-to-be-hatched flybaby and let everyone else sort themselves out, you don't need to know of any potential hassle while you do the important stuff... xx

Hardly any flying today unless you count getting lots of veg all reduced to 30p at Mr T on my way home from work. Only 2 in staff room today and seemed only about 15 cars in college car park. At least I got quite a lot of paperwork done and prepared for a training session I've got to deliver next Monday - yeuch.

Looby sorry about your ceiling, hope it gets sorted soon.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.
  • Good evening :D

1st back at work today. I had Little Miss Sunshine for the first time since September. It was so nice to have her back :) I have her tomorrow & Monday as well, then she is back at school. I also had Master S (a very lively 7 YO). He saw LMS (4) this morning and gave her a big hug saying 'I missed you!', and she said 'I missed you too!' :D So sweet! We then went to a messy play session at the Children's centre. Let's just say, we got our money's worth (£1!!), but I felt obliged to help tidy up as my 2 made the most mess!! ;) Back there tomorrow for the childminder's session. Hopefully LMS's art will be dry by then :D

All decorations are down & in the loft. LR is sparkling, as I dusted, polished & hoovered everything now that I can see it. DW done & food shop done (the cupboards were bare!!)

Hugs, sticks & spoons to those that need them, esp 1Step, dorajar, witchy & loopylou. Good luck at the hospital tomorrow SB5.

I am off to bed now - trying to get back to a normal sleeping & eating pattern here too! Night night all x
  • loobylou2 check your rental agreement before you/OH spend any money... as a tenant you can only have contents insurance; buildings insurance, ie damage to the fabric of the property is the responsibility of the owner of the building. It may be a sticky area that OH 'caused' the damage but the owner/landlord should have accidental damage cover as well as escape of water cover so please check the small print before coughing up... xx

  • Struggling to copy and paste Weds....
But, youngest ds hoovered all of downstairs and wiped underneath the window where the dog shakes when she comes in. He's 16 and although he's great if he's asked to do a job I have chatted to him and his sister about doing things as they see them. Then I won't have to nag/ask! So I was dead chuffed!:j
Food shop all done and some kitchen cupboards cleaned out, sticky drips wiped and old jars thrown out. So not oo bad seeing as I had been at hospital appt with mum today.
    Better challenge for tomorrow:)

  • Should have been in uni today but I was too ill to go and though I could snuggle on the couch with the dogs and read the stuff I need for my essay but that didn't go to plan either .
OH came home at lunch time and was convinced I'd been at the booze as I was all over the place and slurring my word and I have walked into the door a couple of times today but feel a bit better after a long afternoon sleep, though that now means I'll be awake til all hours.
So no flying has been done today (although OH put Hoover over the living room) and it's back to work tomorrow but I'm making a promise to myself to at least do level one, as a little is better than none.

  • Hi! A very late post at a very late hour, but, GOOD LUCK to Skintbreeder tomorrow (today now!) at the hospital and also good luck and support vibes for those flyladies having issues at work. I've had that and know just how awful it is. Good wishes winging all your ways.

PS Done loads of flying, especially in the kitchen, today! R x
