    Happy New Year lovelies! :kisses3:

Had a lovely time off work, been busy but with stuff that's just for me/us and no-one else lol Back to work tomorrow though (private houses) gotta get some wonga in!

Done loads today, done loads yesterday....and the day before.....and the day before that, you get the picture so house is looking tip-top and loved again, kinda gets neglected when I'm working, not unclean or untidy, just don't have time to spend on it as I would like.

DD1's wedding is fast approaching (Feb) before that got littley's 13th, also got 2nd grandbaby due in May, DS2's 21st in July, all the other birthdays and stuffs (MOT/car insurance/tax all due in Feb too) and I really, REALLY need a stairs carpet, keep catching my trousers on the stupid grippers on the risers still there from the old carpet that was ripped up :o If i manage to pull all that off without losing my hair/my sanity, or becoming bankrupt i'll be a very happy bunny.

Whoa epic post, sorry gals x

    Evening everybody

I survived yesterday without murdering anybody. Today I have been doing abit of flying and alot of work catching up. DH took DD out so I could get on with it so at least the house stayed tidy. `

DH is back at work tomorrow so just me and DD and the craft box I think

    happy new year all

have spent the day packing christmas neatly back into the attic. ive labelled the outsdie of the boxes with whats inside and put the cards advents and wrapping paper up last so they are on the outsdie of the stack so that i can get to those without pulling the lot out.
sales items have been listed and put ready to use on appropriate birthday or save for next christmas.
drink is all stashed away, well apart from a bottle of wine for next weekend and the choccies and biscuits will only be coming down at the weekends now, i think weve got enough left to last till may!!!

will resume list flying tomorrow now the house looks less festive-well a bit boring really.

    hugs to all

Can I use ordinary vinegar or pickling vinegar for the descaling of the kettle?

I think it's white vinegar you have to use.

Thanks Helen Jelly and Mumof2..........they are sequined all over.........think I'll wear them.........

I have put on a load of washing and told DD off for telling me she had been tidying and she clearly hadn't....won't have lying. Little bit tidier in there now, but that and the room of doom needs a good go and the rest of the house needs a quick clean through tomorrow......busy, busy, busy...........xx

    Hello everyone,

I used to post on this thread but that was a long time ago. I was doing so well but then my 3rd child was born and I have been fluttering and falling ever since!

3 children, my husband and myself live in a very small 2 bedroom flat - not easy. Our home desperately needs decorating and we need more storage. My husband is a carpenter and we have all the plans drawn up for various cupboards etc but he is self employed and I'm a SAHM and we cannot afford for him to take time off work to do things at home! It is so frustrating as our home could be so much nicer. Our main priority is making a triple bunk for the children's room!

We have made a lot of decluttering progress over the last few weeks - 7 bin bags of toys to charity/the bin, 4 massive Ikea bags of clothes ready to go to charity shops, a car full of random junk to the dump.. It is never ending though and I know from experience that I need to do baby steps to get anywhere. My children are 7, 5, and 20 months - the big 2 are back to school on Monday and I'm very lucky that the little one loves his 4hr naps during the day so I can get a lot done! We are stuck at home for the rest of the holidays as we have no money due to one of DHs customers not paying up just before Christmas :( horrible as I've just passed my driving test and promised the children I would take them lots of exciting places in the holidays :(

I would love to join you all if that's ok? Feeling a bit overwhelmed :(

No cheery hello today people.............day from hell today. Yes I was expecting to be busy/on a deadline/the usual first day back but not expecting the attitude I got.

So feeling sorry for myself and angry and upset..........

Sorry you've had such a sh*t day :( Do feel free to offload here if it helps xx
