Thanks ionafan I've had a browse and we've done a few of those, some good inspiration!

Well, I've pottered tonight, sorted out my smalls :o and chucked some religious sock (:D). Also rooted through make up and hair stuff *fling* and a couple of sweaters I don't wear (to fabric box).

Then done a bit of cross stitch, had a bath, and finished stitching. 2 threads down, 547 to go :rotfl:

Told DS earlier we were going to have a fun year as the sad year has finished. He wants to go on a train, on holiday (with a slide in a swimming pool :D), to the play gym and to nursery :A bless him. DD said she wanted to go on a swing. I think we can manage that. Had a brief look at holidays. Found a fab looking one for £800 per week. Each :eek::eek:

    Tree down tomorrow! Hurrah!

Sun holiday to trecco £9.50 each for 4 days lol not glam but have got fab slides into pool :D and kids love sid and lizzy ...

Hol prices are extortionate this year for school hols we had a gorgeous 2 weeks in holiday village in turkey in October for £1600 for 3 all inclusive in august same holiday village is £4000  Can see us pinching days off school term again or not going this year poor teachers must get stung awfully whilst booking theirs..

    Morning All

DD's birthday today so nothing done so far. We have 4 of her friends coming for a sleepover later - about 2.30 - so the peace will soon be gone. We're going to Taybarns for tea so I won't have to cook at least.

Need to get dressed now as I need to nip to Mr As to get her birthday cake - she wants the giant cupcake one - last year was easy as she wanted me to bake one, this year she wants a bought one.

Hope everyone has a good day

    Hugs

    Morning!

Nursery re-opens today! Hurrah! Tots are away, I got weighed (put on 5lb since beginning of dec :o), and nipped to home bargains for some bin bags. Came out £20 lighter  although to be fair I did get DS two birthday presents, plus one for his friend and some batteries, and DD one of those slide together drawer organisers.

Now logged on to work network seeing what's what. Also need to check my accounts. Today is laundry day... (and paid stuff!)

Sun holidays! Yes, MIL is collecting tokens for us. They took the tots to one near Scarborough in October, and they had an absolute ball! I think they'd like a ride on a bendy bus too... :D

    Away with the fairies
  • So far this morning put away yesterdays dishes, put new sponge scourer out, added washing up brush to shopping list and did breakfast and dinner dishes from yesterday.

I'm having a rest just now as not sure how many spoons of energy I have today. Going to do more later though. Brother might be coming down later to listen to football as still holiday up here. I've no working shower at the moment so will either be going to Mam and Dad's or OH will help me with jugs of water.

Hope everyone that is back to work has a good day and those who have little ones in nursery today it goes well. (((Hugs))) to those who need it.
