Could be worth pointing out to his work that they are liable for all bank charges, penalties for missed payments etc caused by the delay. Seems a long time though - is the company in financial trouble? By this time they should at least be offering cash or cheques to tide people over. If you've not already told your bank it would be worth letting them know. This happened to me once and they were very sympathetic.

Thanks. I hope they are not in financial trouble as we would all be in trouble - and the bank does know - they ARE the bank!! :p It is only a handful of staff affected (amongst 1000's). We have it covered, but he is kicking up a stink :D He leaves in 11 days :j We will probably change our bank accounts after that anyway! The mortgage is elsewhere.

    Happy New Year, everyone!

What she said :Dionafan, you are so much better with words than I am :)

I have printed off my annual risk assessment sheets, and checked some tide times (so I can take kiddies/dog to the beach for some 'outdoor learning' ;)), chased some figures for the art club accounts, and decluttered some programmes from the box. Not much else has been done. DH is a bit blue - combination of frustration & hangover I think. And I know he doesn't really want to go out tonight, as he doesn't feel very sociable :o

I think I will grab myself a snack, then maybe get my risk assessments out of the way.

    Hi Guys I'm back . . . again :o

2012 has been horrible for me and the last few months have been worse. Alot of people putting their problems and pressure on me and I can't cope with it :(
So 2013 is going to be different and if people call me selfish then so be it
I have alot of things I want to achieve and I'm definitely going to need you lot to give me more than a few kicks up the b*tt!

Count some blessings from the year gone by Not sure I'm in the right frame of mind for this

Witchy!! *runs with arms open and gives a BIG HUG* So glad to see you posting again :j

You sound positive and determined for 2013. There is nothing selfish about looking after yourself. Keep the faith xx

One blessing is you have us :D we will help you and kick you up the b*tt.

All I have managed today is put the WM on twice and go to work, although I did pick up a few bits for the house and for the shop. By the time I got home I was soaking. I keep coughing and sniffing. I might potter about a bit later when the meds kick in.

    Laters xx
