    Happy New Year, everyone!

As Ionafan has said everything I was feeling but couldn't put into words, I hope she won't mind me quoting her and wishing the same things - along with a few other people.
    Better is good enough.

Valli  - was it Tag who did them in strict number batches? I can't remember.

    It was...

    :D:D:D:D:D:D

    my fellow peg-aholic!

I have FINALLY FINISHED MY KNITTING

Had to do short rows. Never done them before. This required sitting in front of you tube while I knitted till I 'got it'. The little jacket, with it's shawl collar, is now sewn up, has buttons and will, I hope, be delivered to the little boy shortly. And I took my car to Mike the Mechanic who prodded and poked and I now have lights. On the way back I popped to Asd4 and got two loaves of bread whoopsied, sausages (also yellow-stickered) and two packs of sausage meat. Never used it before (it's now in the freezer) but I'm thinking I could layer it up with onions (maybe fry it off first) lay sliced potatoes over the top and invent some kind of sausage meat hotpot. P'raps add carrots...

    any thoughts?

(one pack was 15p and one was 25p (?) so this would be two cheap meals for those ravenous teenagers)

Hence my absence from the thread this evening, while I focussed.

    *goes to catch up*

I echo what Ionafan says - perfect words.

    Bossy
-sweetest blessing ever - I have that set - mine are just bigger IYSWIM. Just enjoy the time you have with them. Doesn't seem like 2 minutes since mine were tots.

Lil gerbil was a gift from DS to DD - now just got Buzz left (Woody and Bullseye already went over the bridge) and he has 9 lives, (if a gerbil can have such a thing) but this will be the last one.

The wool is 75% merino, 20% silk and 5% cashmerre. Was lovely to handle.
