Up before 7 this morning, though we did just about see the New Year in, for a change! I'm still coughing and my energy levels keep dipping, but I've just finished my course of ABs. Maybe I'll have to go back to the Dr tomorrow if I don't perk up by the end of today
The house was looking OK yesterday until 5 minutes before my friend left, when I sorted out some things from boxes in the study for her to take with her and made the fatal mistake of not clearing the boxes away again immediately afterwards. That will be the next job this morning, as soon as I've finished my :coffee: and found some GUAG.
We have more friends coming to lunch today, and the beef is already simmering in the SC. The weather forecast is for sunshine, so we shall eat in the breakfast room, which faces south, rather than the north-facing dining room and enjoy a bright start to the year. It also involves far less fetching and carrying
My job list for this morning - not in any particular order after the first item:
- Tidy study and find paperwork for DH to sign at breakfast time
- Put away remaining presents
- Put away yesterday's ironing from utility
- Prepare veg and dessert (only something easy! - still got mince pies to be eaten up)
- S&S kitchen and downstairs WC
- Shower and then S&S bathroom
- Re-make guest bed
- WM and TD x3 (but probably not until after our guests have gone)
- Hoover downstairs
- Eat breakfast which DH will make as usual :A
:coffee: now decluttered. Going for a HHC at 8.30. Anyone in the mood to join me for the first flight of 2013?
Somebody said last night that we ought to have some more Flylady meets in 2013. That would be lovely!

Doesn't look as if I've achieved much, but at least I am clean!

Not a lot happening here, FIL washed up after I cooked brekkie, everyone just watching kids tv. Everyone fed and dressed and thought I might take kiddies out to ride their bikes soon.
Not doing any laundrybut might have a sort in my wardrobe later. Plus, MIL has got DS some undies so will have a sort through those and see if we can lose any older ones.
Stew and dumplings went down well, DS wanted extra dumpling and DD ate everything but dumplingbut just about 5 clean plates, with a little left over for supper tonight. I'll go to that butcher again, the meat was lovely.
It's my gran's funeral a week on Friday. My brother will be here so I think I might get some for the slow cooker then we'll have something to dig into when we get home.Bossymoo
