It is my 2 year MSE anniversary this week.

We have just been for a walk. Sun is shining 1st time in ages. DS2 said his legs were about to snap off. I think I need to get him fit for school next week.

WM is on, my Mother wouldn't approve. Sofa throws tidied.

Lazy dayish on the cards here. Roast dinner this evening.

I hope poorly people are feeling much better and that everyone has a good day - good luck joannasmum :)

Ooh and I would love a flylady meet for the Kent/Essex/other Home Counties people, perhaps in London if it's easy for everyone to get there? Happy to organise for the Spring, pm me if you are interested.

    Back later xx

  • Morning and a happy new year to you all!

Feeling little delicate this morning, so apart from laying in front of the fire with the dog promising never to drink again, not much flying, well no flying been done. Although just unsubscribed to 10 websites to help clear junk that comes through. My plan for today is, walk dog, pick car up from last night, HHI, tidy dressing table and list on eBay, that's if I can get my head of pillow have a good day everyone x

Honey Bear and caxmed, you are both softies! We still have peeling wallpaper in the hall where our beloved Gingy puss had an extra water bowl - he used to flick the water all around. There is no way I'd change it. No other cat uses his blue dish either, there will never be a cat like him - how can a little fur ball touch our hearts so? Bless to the little ratty and gerbil that have just passed on, too. All precious gifts that give us so much joy.

Very, very easily, that's how. They give unconditional love; they don't care if you spend all day in your PJs, they don't criticise if you look a mess, they just ask for feeding and exercise, and love.

My canine house-guests worm their way into my affections very quickly; for instance, I never met Daisy before; she was only here for a 5-day stay, but already I love her to bits. I freely admit to shedding tears when I hear that one of them has crossed the Rainbow Bridge - indeed, I was just thinking about little Sidny this morning.:o
You need to reinforce your bubble. Line it with non-shatter, non-get-throughable perspex type stuff. Then they can't get to you and you can't hear anything lol.
Wendywitch - good to see you back!:o Bonnie's right; and might I suggest a warding spell or two, also, to keep 'em out!;)

Mr LW is currently perusing the newspaper, but we really must get on and get the lounge done shortly; it will be done today!!

Happy New Year to all my Flylady Friends !!!

Beautiful sunshine here in Kent, and an unknown girl sleeping on the living room floor - just waiting for younger son to emerge with explanation! Must have been a good party... Not bothered, he knows I'm happy for friends to sleep here rather than be wherever if they can't get home.

Nothing special planned for today, but I'd like to clear away the Christmas decorations. I usually do it before the New Year, but everyone was out and about yesterday, so no-one available to climb into the loft.

    Afternoon everyone

Hugs for those feeling poorly or hungover, DH is making a bit of a recovery but he has to work later and doesn't want to [where is that rollie eye thingy when you want it]

So far I've been to the Lottie with DH to have a good look at it [flooded] and we've worked out what we're doing on it this year - new larger plot which will take some work - it will help me with the fitness plan.

Plans for this afternoon are to do not alot :]]

WM and TD are on, need to prep lamb and veg for dinner tonight. OH made a lovely fry up for brunch, so at the moment I'm snuggling on the couch with the doggies but think I may ask OH if we can go for a little walk in a bit.
  • Happy New Year from our household!

Got a cold lurking from last year so hoping to get all germs for 2013 done and out of the way now.

LW - I remember you talking about Sidney, bless his little heart x

We have decluttered some energy walking the dogs round spooky field. |Think they appreciated it as they were bounding around like puppies!

Been thinking about hopes and dreams............all I can come up with is do what you know to be right.

Off to lounge on the settee and watch some tv.

Took little ones out on bikes for an hour. Blew away the cobwebs, it was breezy and chilly but bright. They are fed and I'm trying to persuade them to nap. Goodness knows why we're all so tired.

I sort of feel like I've opened a new school book, full of clean empty pages. Haven't felt like that in a long time :) like maybe there are possibilities. I've surprised myself, I expected to feel pants today...
