Back from the hops and lots of the food for tonight was heavily reduced so very happy.

I need a drink and a snack then some cleaning and food prep, loads of time.

You sound busy Dusty. I just nipped out to post my Dads birthday card and there was very little reduced in the co-op considering they are shut tomorrow, and no meat or bread left.

Hello to the newbies and the returners.

WM is on, and the DW. I really need to get on with the ironing if I am to meet the midnight deadline.

Valli  - was it Tag who did them in strict number batches? I can't remember.

Hi everyone; and a warm Wolfy welcome to new Flyers.:hello:
I'm a little late on declaring myself “in” for this week, and indeed for 2013, but here I am.:o

As with 2012, I shall work from my own lists, if that's OK; I find it better to do the same room on the same day each week; and the way the ol' joints are now, I'm going to be calling on my resident Flylad to do a lot more.;)

He's finishing work at 15:00 today, so he can help me blitz the kitchen when he comes in – he's already agreed to help construct the pizza for tonight's dins. And tomorrow, the decs are coming down, and we can give the hall and lounge a really good go, which hasn't happened with all the Yule stuff kicking around.

Narc0lepsy sorry to read, on last week's thread, of the loss of your horse. Valli sorry to hear about the gerbil, too. Doesn't matter the size of the friend, if they were loved, they'll be missed.

Thus far today I've emptied the bedlinen from the airing cupboard for Mr LW to put away in the bed drawer, made pizza dough (currently sitting on the baking tray on the empty airing cupboard shelf), thrown the duster-onna-stick round the whole bungalow as best I can with poorly paws, and generally tidied round, including a small bin-bag dance, as I intend putting the black bag out later in the week, and updated the grocery/meal plan and financial spreadsheets.

Right, I need to get off my butt if I'm to do HHWiiFit before Mr LW gets in - I prefer to do it when he's not here because it's embarrassing if he witnesses me falling flat on my bum, as I very often do.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Additional job for later: Sew dog toy.

  • New to this thread. Off to accept ironing challenge - pile has summer stuff in it. Will put away all presents bought in sales for 2013 (a bag for each person, sellotaped closed if all their pressies bought). Hoover, all except for the bit where my poor recently passed on mog lay (can't getrid of that fur yet). Get tea in slow cooker.
I've been a really lazy little minx recently. Must get a grip.
Hopefully I will - following you guys should help.
PS meal planning saboteurs ...how do we deal with them?
  • Good afternoon :D

Dog has been walked (it is horrible out - but he doesn't care!). Table has been put back normal size. DH has cleaned up the kitchen. I have taken down a few cards, but DS is objecting! I will insist that the decs come down tomorrow :p

DH has just had a word re money. His work STILL haven't paid him :mad::mad: His pay day was supposed to be 20th Dec!! It is nothing to do with handing in his notice - just a general c**k up!! Meanwhile, mortgage & council tax is due on Wednesday  Luckily I have been putting away 20% of my income into a savings account (well, most of the time anyway) to cover tax & expenses (I am self-employed) so we can use that until it is sorted. Not that they need to know that!

We are out tonight (I hope it stops raining as we are walking!) so I need to cross something off the lists and do HHStudy (maybe)
