Hello everyone, and Happy Hogmanay:j
No prizes for guessing - flying more regularly is a big part of my New Year resolutions :eek:Dustykitten wrote: »Anyone up for an AnW'sMum style ironing challenge? Commit to clear all your ironing by 31 December
Must fess up - only reason the basket is nearly empty is cos there's a mountain of ironing in the spare room.Goodintentions wrote: »
DH has just had a word re money. His work STILL haven't paid him :mad::mad: His pay day was supposed to be 20th Dec!! It is nothing to do with handing in his notice - just a general c**k up!! Meanwhile, mortgage & council tax is due on Wednesday  Luckily I have been putting away 20% of my income into a savings account (well, most of the time anyway) to cover tax & expenses (I am self-employed) so we can use that until it is sorted. Not that they need to know that!
Could be worth pointing out to his work that they are liable for all bank charges, penalties for missed payments etc caused by the delay. Seems a long time though - is the company in financial trouble? By this time they should at least be offering cash or cheques to tide people over. If you've not already told your bank it would be worth letting them know. This happened to me once and they were very sympathetic.
Off to tackle the list.

Welcome caxmcd2000. It was over five years before I could get rid of the marks my favourite cat left on the skirting board on the stairs when she sunbathed, and only then as part of a Flying list a couple of months ago. She's still missed sniff.
