    Debt-free and Proud!
    Hello all!

Hugs to beckyboo, hope things work out for Hubby and you all.
    Morning all! :j

I think I'm on for another NSD today... BUT... I'm going to the shop to 'spend' some vouchers. Someone answer the eternal question... does this count as a NSD? :DI would consider it as a NSD as my bank account is not affected by spending vouchers

Found 10p, fell out of OH work trousers. £5 Amazon voucher chased in on Swagbucks. :j:j:j YAY! I'm really struggling to earn points on Sbs at the moment.

Feel much happier today. Was a bit despondent yesterday. Just had a blah day about everything I think, but feeling a bit more 'Back on it' today. I assume this is normal. Everyone feels like they are swimming in treacle every now and then for no reason, right? January blues probably x [/QUOTE]

Yesterday was a NSD though I used my xmas money from mum to order some new jeans (with cashback) Going out for tea tonight as part of my xmas pressie to Hubby as I know we always feel a bit deflated at the start of January. Already paid for with a voucher and as we're not drinking and will prob just order tap water, a "free" night out too :D

My free graze box arrived yesterday. Looks fab but don't think it's worth the normal price. Might stock up at health shop on some fruity nibbly bits and make my own ;)

Potential for some overtime in the coming weeks but not sure whether we'll be paid time in lieu or just our usual rate (£20 for sending email) as this job may require one of us in particular to be home to send emails rather than the usual whoever's about to sort it. Will ask Hubby as he used to work in this dept. Def more responsibilty and experience for me though so all good in the long run. :)

    Hello lovelies,

I'm very late, but can I join you?

Up for all challenges except the NSD's (only as it doesn't fit with the way I work my budgets).

    Travel £123
    Food £60
Beauty products - have many to use up!
    Ebay target £155
Debt free (finally) and saving a deposit for my first home.

Do you run often? Do you feel better for it?

Candy, I was the same ate loads and still satyed thin, but couldnt even run half a mile without blowing up. I remember the feeling of aching all over after hardly doing anything. That was 4 years ago- since then ive done 4 mountain marathons, three ultra marathons and a whole load of other really awesome races. The first year or persevering paid off so much.
People overcomplicate running, just get out as often as you can, accept you will have good days and bad, dont beat yourself up for walking just finish the session as best you can and keep at it. :j
I run now quite often, have periods where I do loads and times I dont do any but its part of my life and I feel like pants if I havent run in a while.

    Hi

I've been struggling on SB too! Completed one of their special offers today - N***algia - deposit £1 and got over 550 SB instantly :T Almost enough for another £5 voucher!! Played the £1 in case that was one of the conditions and it's now at £4, but not doing anything else with it until I know if I can withdraw it which may involve topping up - minimum is £50!
  • DON'T DO IT!!! :p..Well done on the no fags.. I am super impressed. Do you have friends doing it with you or are you hitting this cold turkey and on your ownsome?

That's great. It definitely helps if both do it. My BF still smokes but is down to two or three a day and not in the house. Still having the remnants of a cold helps me as I really don't fancy one just now. Plus the way I sorted my money into budgets, CC and saving I actually really don't have the money this month :D (not that I really did before :o)

    WE CAN DO IT:T
DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/25

Well I'm a bit achey today but not too bad, I'm going to try 3 times a week to start with so we will see how it goes! I just want to feel healthier and hopefully build up more of an appetite when it comes to food as I can't eat big meals I'm just a picker haha. I will keep you updated and let's see if I get to the point of running marathons :p
