Hi guys
Just had a wee read at the thread - plenty of great lunch ideas here that I am looking forward to trying.
Wondering does anyone have a food flask they can recommend to me - i.e. like a food flask I could put soup/stew/pasta in that would keep my food WARM for 4-5 hours until lunch time?
I am a community worker so I am often eating lunch in my portable office aka my car. My mum bought me a Polar Gear "lunch pod" for me for Xmas but I can say it was utterly useless and my soup was freezing by lunch time - had to put the car heater on full blast and hold my soup under it, which needless to say didn't really work :rotfl:

I thought I was doing really well last night.
I made a large amount of red lentil pate, enough for the week. Also I tried something different and made the cous cous into a pudding using coconut milk and some crushed pistachio nuts and a few raisins, made 4 portions, took 1 with me, and put the others in the fridge for the following days.
I just walked in the house and my sweet tooth got the better of me, I just eat the lot. So will have to rethink pudding for the rest of the week.Ebay 13........1583.46/2000.00 Amazon sales 54/50 Etsy sales 63/50

It's only me checking in to say another LTW day, that's 5 out of 5 so far. Saving days will kick in again on Wednesday.
Loving the suggestions for keeping other people's mitts off of your food. We have had foodie thieves in our office.
Whilst you could get in trouble, I would be sorely tempted to take action and lace with laxatives, you will soon find out who the culprit is. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::DNSD Challenge 2015: Jan 20 / 20 (2 x 5 in-a-row) / Feb 5 / 12 (4 in-a-row)

But I cheat and either use a slug of pataks curry starter or a teaspoon of marmite instead of all the different herbs because I really do not like cooking that much.Ebay 13........1583.46/2000.00 Amazon sales 54/50 Etsy sales 63/50

Another day and I've taken a salad today. I've not had anything interesting yet but going to come up with a few ideas over the next few days.
P.S. I left work at 10pm this evening and it was like a blizzard here in South Wales. Back in at 6 though so hope it doesn't carry on.:jMake £10 a day in May- £90/£1500 -
Had carrot and coriander soup today. Normally I love it, but this one wasn't good :-(
There's one guy who buys those microwave burgers every day and I feel so smug though as mine is nicer (usually) and a lot cheaperMurphy's No More Pies Club #209

Hi everyone
Another LTW day for me.
I have had two very busy days at work and tonight have come home with a headache so am going to bed soon. Have set my alarm 15 minutes early to make lunch in the morning. Risky but have promised myself to get up as soon as the alarm goes off. Am planning on another NSD tomorrow so MUST make lunch or it's weetabix for lunch.

Hi all. Sounds like everyone's doing a fab job. Still haven't bought lunch or breakfast at work so I'm chuffed with myself.
Looking forward to carrying this through to February when I'll really feel the impact of what I'm saving.0
