Hey everyone, I haven't popped in for a bit as I've been super busy. I have however been very good and have remembered to take my LTW every working day so far!
I also thought I was particularly good over the weekend, I spent Fri, Sat & Sun decorating at my late dad's house and took some of my lunch snack bits from the cupboard to take with me as I had ample supply (I've still got plenty to last until the end of next week). It would have been all too easy otherwise to pop to the bakers or have something in the supermarket cafe if I hadn't had snacks to hand. I also remembered to take tea bags & milk with me.
My dp did come home with a maccy d one night last week, but it didn't work out too costly/wasteful as they got the order wrong... I still ate what I had been given, but 1 phone call later and I was getting the whole meal replaced for free so I picked that up at the weekend as I was passing by :rotfl:
I'm starving already so am really looking forward to being able to make up my couscous lunch!£12k in 2019 #084 £3000/£3000

Hello everyone,
I've bought my own Lunch in again today; Vegetable Soup plus two slices of bread. I have lots of snack-y things too so will be okay for the rest of the week.0 -
Can I claim a TLH day? No work as a snow day again so Took Lunch Home. I made pasties yesterday as I had swede, celeriac and potato needed using. Nice but loads of butter involved. I STILL have swede and celeriac to use up so I ha ve used an idea from the Hairy Dieters book (managed to get it from the library!). Bread dough, made it in the BM, then used instead of pastry. Sort of a cross between pa sty and calzone I suppose. Smell good, nearly done!.Grocery Challenge (2 adults 2 kids)

Yes' but soon you'll be able to see the lovely savngs! That will motivate you more, because you know it's worth it. If you get really good at it, it migt not be 22 months as you can use the savings to pay back more.

Thanks, you're right but I could so easily get carried away building myself a nice desk stock cupboard *thinking* I'm saving money when actually I'm spending it instead. I'm only amazed I've not found an excuse to go out and buy lots of nice new sandwich boxes too :rotfl:Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)

very pleased that I'm now up to £40 saved from taking my own lunch for the past fortnight! today I had a wrap with chorizo, cheese and onion mayonnaise, which was yummy and the weather means I'm not overly keen to go outside, so I'm saving money both ways!£2 Savers Club 2014 #38 | 20p Savers Club 2014 #37 | 50p Savers Club 2014 #29
