i do appreciate that what i'm going to say may well be quite offensive to you - but in the circumstances is it really the right time to have another child? As you say, you are a long-term sufferer of depression, and the circumstances that you describe are not condusive to your health and wellbeing - nor those of your other children. Added to that the fact that your b/f is not entitled to any benefits, and that you are proposing standing bail for him - how do you know that he will not abscond?
Just think about it.

The trouble is circumstances can change.
I hope you never need state benefits, but if you do I hope they are still there.
Totally agree with you circumstances can change.
Problem is, people who cant afford the children they already have then decide to get pregnant again! If I couldnt afford anymore children after1 or 2 I would be making sure I take my pill and make sure hubby wears a condom, its far cheaper than bringing up a baby! But saying that, thats the problem. People like this dont care if they can afford another child or not, they just keep popping them out safe in the knowledge that others will be paying for it!0 -

But thats no true is it, many who are born here don't pay anything into the pot, as do Asylum seekers who cross various national border to get here.
International Law states an asyum seeker should claim asylum in the 1st free country they enter.0 -
Yes but she's born in UK and English not some parasite from overseas and read he thread as well she's had the baby
With regard to benefits in general, makes no difference where they are from, I would rather have an Eastern European working here and paying taxes than an English workshy scumbag who has never worked dragging up 5 kids at my expense..
Nationality makes no difference whatsoever.......
Those who work should reap the rewards those who have never worked should be allowed to sink unless genuinely disabled.Cut out all their benefits and it would be surprising how quickly they found work.0 -

Please note, I would have given the same advice to your daughter had you posted prior to the birth of your grandchild.0 -

And thats the problem. They bypass several country's to get here because the other country's are not as soft as us,they dont give them the benefits we do.0 -

Because they are human beings who may have been through all sorts of horrors in their own country, and common courtesy costs nothing?
Just a thought.0
