I love a good plan - it may not work.... but I love a good plan!0 -
Well my sig is now updated and ready for the start of the year.
Just need a plan to get us to keep the motivation up, although now we can see it making a difference we should be ok, just need to keep reminding the hubby of that.
And also work on the food buying. Both looking into sorting our diets and weight out next year, will either push up the food spends or reduce it. Going to try and stop buying the kids crisps for their lunch boxes as they are the hubbies downfall. Home baked goodies are better anyways I reckon. Unless they have a good deal going on appr0ved food of course. :rotfl:
What else....................
Oh got my voucher for ald!, luckily my mum gets that paper so completely free for me! Just need to remember to take it this week.
Can you believe this time next week Xmas will be almost over?!?!?! It's just like a wedding really, lots of saving, planning and sorting for one day that goes by in a flash.
What's everyone's New Years resolutions gonna be??December 2018: £20,850.24. Now: £18,333.02 Total paid in 2019: £2517.22

Rather apt that one of my NY resolutions will be to bake once a week, which you kick started me off with.
The other one is to reduce sugar in tea from half a tea spoonful to none. Last year I wanted to go from one to none, but didn't quite manage it. Here's hoping I don't go from half to a third or a quarter :rotfl:
And to prioritise mortgage capital payments - got to get that back on track.
Here's to a debt-busting 2014 :beer:Back on the DFW Wagon:

Direct debit changed to the b4rclaycard to include the amount I paid off the Hal!fax card. This should hopefully make the number go down quicker.
Going to brave the shops tomorrow to get the last Xmas bits and pick up my so4p and glory set that the hubby can give me for Xmas.
Shopping this week and just a fiver over budget (included dog food this time though for f-I-L's dog as he is in hospital)
Remembered my voucher too for £5 off, and for the first time ever I was under the £40 needed to redeem! Got two choccy bars to get the total up.just shows how much we can save with no lunch boxes!!!
