never seem to have much to write these days, less debts means less payments to make and all I seem to do is work!
Sig changed ready for dec, and am still on target to pay the Hal!fax card offThen it will be just two debts left!!
Grocery shopping still seems to be a struggle to stay in budget?!?! Need to fill the freezer next month see if that helps. Gonna go back to using the calculator too.
At the moment life just seems to be a bit dull. No money, always working, feels like we are just existing really. I know it's going to be fine once we get debt free, it's just the thought of another 20 months of feeling like we are going no where. Ummmm, need to find some mojo!December 2018: £20,850.24. Now: £18,333.02 Total paid in 2019: £2517.22

I feel exactly the same rags, I don't think the time of year helps with xmas around the corner and all the extra outgoing's,

Oh, but you are - you are going somewhere much nicer!!!
DF-Land!!!
How about incorporating some kind of visual countdown in your signature? I am sure there are 20 of something you can put in there and cross off as you countdown, that way you only have 20 'somethings' to go instead of 20 months!
Nats xstart = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225

I love a good plan - it may not work.... but I love a good plan!0 -
That's a very good idea nats!!!! Will have a look at that later.
Well, mortgage is out and I'm back over the overdraft, and the grocery money hasn't gone out for this weekend yet!:mad::eek:
Gonna go back to putting the whole months spends in the spending account as we were on track when we did that.
Have loads to pay out this month, and that's before Xmas! So glad I save up for that all year, don't know how I ever used to do it out of nov/dec wage, and that was with 1 child too!
Quick update from me, have to go get ready for work. Feel like I have a head cold coming so really just want to curl up on the sofa with a comfy pillow and fleece blanket. Oh well, the bills won't pay themselves.December 2018: £20,850.24. Now: £18,333.02 Total paid in 2019: £2517.22

Hey nats, my head cold felt bad this morning, but a combination of cold and flu capsules and brufen saw me through!!!! All hail medication!!!! :rotfl:
Trying to sort xmas out this week, luckily have the money saved up for it.
Cant believe it will soon be 2014, these years are just flying by too quickly!!!!
Sig now updated with 20 £ signs to signify my 20 months left. See if striking them off helps my motivation. Had a perfect smilie lined up but for some reason it wont copy and paste?!?!?!December 2018: £20,850.24. Now: £18,333.02 Total paid in 2019: £2517.22

Think I'm getting stingy in my old age, looking for Xmas presses last night and found that everything is sooooooooo pricey! Looked at a football dressing gown for the boys which I know they would love, but they were £25 each which added up to £50 which I begrudge paying!!! Would have normally just got them.
Going for amount this year as have got them a few expensive presents in the past, but kids look at how many, not how much has been spent. Que lots of stocking fillers and games so the boys can play (read fight) together. Selection box sorted for all children I need to get for thanks to mr m's offer!!!
Ds1 has done a big list, but understands he may not get the laptop, tablet, ds3, motorbike etc () he has asked for but well on my way to getting the other stuff. Luckily the family always asks what they want so ideas given off the list. Takes the pressure off me a bit. Ds2 not really got the hang of a list, just briefly things down like Ben 10 and Disney p!anes but not what he actually wants! He is easily pleased though so anything he gets he is happy.
Going to do a treasure hunt for their main pressies like I did last year, loved their faces going round the house with their clues. Made it just a little more exciting for them.
On the debt front, just waiting for my payday this week, although will wait for the hubbies payday next week to pay off the ha!ifax card off. So can't wait for that, will be a big morale boost.
How are you all getting on?December 2018: £20,850.24. Now: £18,333.02 Total paid in 2019: £2517.22

Feeling very worn out and drained. Taken the day off to try and feel human again.
Money moved around for now. Money transferred to debt fund and to the spending account. This should hopefully put us back on track.
Just need to sort the grocery spends out, calculator at the ready I think.December 2018: £20,850.24. Now: £18,333.02 Total paid in 2019: £2517.22

:xmastree: Xmas tree is up, have baked mincemeat cookies and banana loaf so feeling very festive. Try as I might, I'm still not keen on mulled wine. I really want to like it though..........
This weeks shopping.............only £5 over my weekly budget!!!!!:D:dance::dance::dance::dance:
