Also, I have fed my two and a half year old son McDonalds. If we're out shopping I've been known to nip in to grab a happy meal. I eat the burger, he eats the carrot sticks. Shock horror. I doubt anyone I know would refer to me as a chav though. In fact, I know they wouldn't.

No it isn't.
Chavs are truly horrible.
Yes it is. I'd much rather have a friend like the OP than like you. I have one truly chavvy, Burberry-clad, not the sharpest tool in the box friend. She has a heart of gold, has been my best friend pretty much forever, and is an amazing mother. She doesn't judge, isn't spiteful, and has time for anyone who needs her help.
You, however, are judgemental, snobbish, and unnecessarily spiteful.0 -

To be fair, you are not feeding your son a McDonalds, just carrots.
OPs 17 month old was eating a happy meal, i may be a snob would would never do it to a baby.Btw, she had fish fingers, carrots and a fruit bag with a fruit shoot
Not exactly as if she's giving her child a cheeseburger, fries, milkshake and McFlurry, is it?
Although I've never had McDonalds fish fingers, it's a food I've given both my one year old and two year old, quite nice with mash, veg and gravy!0 -
What a rude and judgemental person you are. It really doesn't matter if the OP was giving her child a happy meal or tea at the Ritz - ceiling hit child, fact. Is it really that important whose ceiling it was?0

All,
Is the Praise, Vent & Warnings forum the new MSE Creche?
Did you all ignore the "Be nice to other moneysavers" message set out by those in MSE Towers?
Please keep the thread on topic.
