Hi everyone! Haven't posted for a few days as have been so very busy.
So I sodded the leaders advice to cut to 10 syns a day and ate pretty much ALL my syns and.....LOST 1.5lb.
I proudly handed her my food diary. In IT, after making such a big deal of the 0.5lb gain last week, leader completely glossed over my weight loss - "Miss Independent - 1.5lb off...Now Pamela, you've done really well this week as you've lost 1lb, now what advice would you give to some of our other members who are struggling?" If she'd have asked me what I did differently I had lots of advice both re food (made a gorgeous syn free lasagne) and the fact I started Wii Zumba this week at Silver Body Magic level. Oh well.
Still, its better than being asked whats wrong with my face. I'm determined to get at least 2lb off this week.
Only bad thing about all the weight coming off is that I bought some lovely summer dresses in Florida and I was hoping to wear one for a first date tomorrow evening but just had a try on and they are all too big! I'm going to have to wear a cami under my second choice (so I don't flash the poor guy!) and I'm just about to see if I can use my limited sewing skills to see if I can adjust my first choice. I'm really freaking out about this date. I've been single for 7 years and its only recently that I've started to get a tiny bit more confident. I've lost another 1.5lbs overnight with nerves lol!
Well, have a great weekend. Remember Barbies and Ice Cream in moderation!0 -

rainbowfairydust wrote: »I agree with this too.. I weigh out my pasta/rice as they are quite high in calories and if you have rice for lunch & then pasta for dinner it can become costly calorie wise. In order to lose a 1lb you must eat less than 3500 calories per week.0

I'm not sure if this is correct!! in my calorie counting days in the 80's 7000 calories a week pretty much guaranteed losing weight of 1-2 lb a week!
It is definitely 3500 per week (so a deficit of 500 per day) . 7000 calories would equate to 2lb loss.

There are several other sites which tell you the same thing
