I'm from Glasgow - family all still lives there.

I'm a property manager - I look after the holiday homes of Brits who don't live here permanently. I also sell real estate and also handle short term holiday rentals.

Ok.....so at WI I put on 4lbs. I thought this was a bit undeserved as I've tried to pull it back. Last week I put on 3lbs. My total weight loss is....wait for it.......

    1lb!!!! :T:T:T:T

Oh dear....so I've got 69lbs to lose in 1 year.

Tomorrow is a new day and I have a new start. I feel I am now going to have a perfect week and have very few sins every day. I don't know if this will work!!!!!!!!
Why do we do this to ourselves!!!!!!!!!!!
    Good luck to everyone.

Don't know what has gone wrong. NYD's quote was to go above my reply. Sorry you are feeling low this week. Hope you are feeling better and are finding it easier. I had a blow out on Tuesday so have decided to forget it and started from Wednesday. I hope this does not affect my weight loss on Tuesday.

thanks MM, the prob is partly that I have never really dieted properly before, always sturdy to a bit bigger, with normal fluctuations , which I put up with. If I get through today, then WI, I can start afresh tomorrow.
Your job sounds great . I sometimes go to glasgow
, its about 40 mns away, I love the kelvingrove .:)

I made the mistake of using my own scales:(

just wondering what everyones favourite fruit is? I have just demolished some blackberries which were delicious. I think my faves are apples, pineapple and berries.

ETA - frozen fruit in a muller is really nice too.

Fave fruits - banana's for ease, cold apples or nectarines for a sweet kick, strawberries & black grapes inthe same mouthful for an amazing taste! Just wish Strawberries weren't so expensive!
My daughter loves pineapple, mango & persimmon fruit :)

Wish weigh in would come quicker - three days in & I feel amazing, lol. More fruit & veg than I've eaten in weeks :o Hubby wants a bbq tomorrow night & actually loking forward to it & planning some kebabs with marinated quorn meatballs ;)

Anyone know the syns in Ikea Meatballs? I know they're quite oily/fatty when cooked so guessing they're not great, lol.

thats me all over!! I told DH today he should lock me in the bedroom at night:rotfl:

Cheer up aggy. I always think that even if you're not losing at least you're eating healthy if you do SW and weightloss will come if you stick at it.

Consultant recommended these: Be Good to Yourself British Quarter Pounder Beef Burgers, 4 pack, frozen, 113g each from Sainsbuury's today. Good for barbecues if you CBA to make your own. 1 syn each for a very large burger.

WI for me today and I gained 2lbs. That puts me exactly at target which I'm OK with considering many flexi meals and little holiday in past month. If I'm really honest I'm not OK with it but I do know where it's come from. :(I want to drop a pound or two before I go away in a couple of weeks so I'm going to try being a bit stricter. Little things have crept in like spread on toast and juice with breakfast which all adds to extra syns.

So far today I've had a bowl of baked beans with toast, a Satsuma, bowl of vegetable soup. For supper I'm doing baked haddock with roasted veg (peppers, mushrooms, red onion, tomato) and Jersey Royals. Syns so far have been a small juice, xtra half a slice of bread and some Flora light. Not planning any more syns today.

I'm a lazy fruit eater and often go for a banana or some grapes as they are easiest. Favourites are probably raspberries and strawberries when they're home grown and tasty. I'll eat most fruits if someone else peels them and cuts them up for me! At heart, I prefer vegetables especially cauliflower and homegrown tomatoes, runner beans and broad beans.
