Ok.....so at WI I put on 4lbs. I thought this was a bit undeserved as I've tried to pull it back. Last week I put on 3lbs. My total weight loss is....wait for it.......

    1lb!!!! :T:T:T:T

Oh dear....so I've got 69lbs to lose in 1 year.

Tomorrow is a new day and I have a new start. I feel pretty low right now but the only way is up, eh? :(

    NYD x

Good on you for drawing a line under it. As I said, it can be done in a year if you put your mind to it :)
Hi Everyone, just thought I'd share tomorrow's eating plan (red day). Do you think it sounds ok? any tips/comments welcome

B - Banana, raspberries, 0% FF natural yoghurt
    Snack (am) - 2 x satsumas
L - 4 wholemeal crackerbread(B), philly cheese light with garlic and herbs (A), cucumber, tomato, jelly pot (0.5 syns)
Snack (pm) - shape 0% yoghurt
D - chicken breast, courgette, carrots, green beans and brocolli (mixed veg pack), 200g potatoes (B), gravy (2 syns), HP sauce (1 syn)
    Pineapple rings
    Milk for tea (A)

    Total syns = 3.5.

    Cheers

    NYD x

Looks fine to me, plenty of SF, although personally I would be hungry a couple of hours later if I just had fruit and yogurt for breakfast - I like a crumbled up weetabix or oats and some honey or golden syrup on mine. Are you saving your syns for something? If not you could have a few more :)

What are the lowest syn possible meat sausages? Am trying Linda McCartney red onion ones tonight, but need something the whole family would eat rather than buying lots of different variations (not Joe's either - can't afford them!)
    C xx

I love Joe's but since our local shop stopped doing them on offer I haven't bought them, too expensive :( The Tesco ones mentioned above are nice, as are the Sainburys BGTY. I had the WW ones the other day as they were on offer- have liked them when had them before but they seemed a bit greasy this time. Think all of those are 0.5 (WW are quite small though, get 8 in a pack- not sure about others). Not tried Morrisons but I believe they do a low fat one too.

Well done on going to Zumba MM, you're doing well to minimise any damage and it takes a lot to resist saying 's*d it' when you feel like bingeing. Keep going, the feeling will pass eventually.

Cycled in again today, on my own this time, although OH is going to give it another try next week. Think I need some padded shorts though, my bum hurts and there are too many speed bumps to go over :rotfl: Found it a bit more tiring (and was sweatier!) than yesterday, possibly because still tired from yesterday's trips but when I arrived Endomondo told me I'd been doing an average of 2.5mph faster than yesterday, so could be why! Driving in tomorrow so don't get messed up before going out tomorrow night, but will be back on the bike on Monday (hopefully with some padding...that isn't my own, lol!)

    EE today:
B: Oats (B), berries, fromage frais, milk (A)
L: Minestrone soup (again! last day of it), apple, plum
T: Erm, actually have no idea. Had pasta a lot this week so maybe some salmon and prawns with a JP and salad
    S: Freddo (5) or mini Twister (2)

Have a good day folks :)

    Morning All :D

Blodwen - Well done on cycling again. You are putting me to shame. I keep meaning to join the gym or walk partially walk to work and i cant get my lazy bum out of bed in time :o.

Skint_Catt - I do not recommend the morrisons NUME LF sausages. they are horrific. Tasteless, and have a weird texture. Not worth the 0.5 syn IMO.

MM - Pleased to hear you went to Zumba. I hope you are feeling better for it this morning. I suggest you bring some woolies with you when you come to the UK. Its a tad chilly ;)

NYD - Think your menu looks fine for a red day. :D

    Tiggy10 - Welcome to the thread :T

    EE for me today :)

B - Hex b toast with ketchup (1), lean bacon & quorn saus (1). Mushrooms on top
L - ainsley cous cous (1.5 - half packet), with spinach leaves, carrot, sweetcorn, beetroot, mushroom, peppers and sliced ham.
D - Salmon fillet with parnsips, new potatoes and broccoli

snacks - melon, frozen berries, muller strawberry yogurt. skimmed milk ( hex a)

Can i ask for input on the salmon please? The salmon fillet is from the fish counter in morrisons but has a teriyake rub on it. When i checked online there is a MKitchen teriyake salmon fillet which is syn free but i am not sure if this applies for the fish counter version. Would you syn as 2.5 for the rub? or have it as free?

I would have thought it was free - if it's just a rub there can't be much on it? Could count 1 or so just to be sure though if you're worried :)

I am so depressed today, I can barely concentrate on your posts, sorry If I dont seem responsive to all the replies. 2nd WI later- feel like giving up already, I fear a stupid half lb loss which is bl***y C**p ! I have really tried and stuck to the plan, except for one choc binge, is it worth it.
I really admire everyone here who have managed great losses, I am just hopeless .

wow thats some choclolate habbit , can i make a suggestion to you
its a tough one but perhaps you should consider limiting the amount of chocolate items you buy in a week then if its not in the house you cannot eat it .....stock up with mullerlight choc and turkish delight and low syn treats instead :)#

thanks, I dont much like muller
:( , that choc was one purchase meant to last me,you are correct, buy what I can have each day. I was on a mission that night...I need to stop night time eating! I get an idea, then am off down them stairs like a scalded cat:D

Sorry you're feeling so down today Aggy - unfortunately we don't all lose at the same rate - it would be wonderful if we did. I think a lot depends on your dieting history. I've spent years abusing my body and it's not going to come off overnight. It sucks but I have to accept it. I've stayed the same for several months now but I know that I'm 25lb lighter and a lot healthier than I was this time last year. I have a long long way to go but as someone said to me staying the same is also a big part of the journey.

Hang in there and just keep doing what you're doing. If you can up the exercise and up the water intake then hopefully you'll see some movement in the right direction.

hoping to lose 50lb by February 2013! 2st lost so far :j
