Altho I haven't done any exercise, I do think that I deserve a special sort of prize/medal for not murdering my dear friend today. During his visit he decided that he would treat himself to a little something .... There I am waiting for my sf jelly & fruit to set, there he is eating haagen dazs. An entire tub, in 1 sitting. In front of me. The !!!!!! is stick thin too. My jelly still hasn't set. I'm really crap at making jelly.when life gives you lemons, stick them in your top & pretend you have pointy boobs.

Some great losses today. Well done all!:Tgettingthere54 wrote: »large tin of rhubarb ( really not sure if I got this right ) warmed with a digestive biscuit crumbed on top & a ww yogurt poured over.
I'm sure you've allowed for this gettingthere but there are syns with tinned fruit or can be used as a HEB. I checked and its 450g as a HEB or 1.5 syns per 100g.
I've had a much better day today.
Breakfast 2 wholemeal bacon rolls
Lunch 2 bowls of strawberries and raspberries and 2 LO potatoes
Supper liver, onions, cabbage, carrots, peas with potato and parsnip mash
Syns were small juice, scrape of spread, gravy and a handful of crisps that jumped into my mouth!
At target, I'm allowed the extra HEB in the roll but I'm sure one should have been enough.0 -
Morning folks,
Been up since 5.45 and in work since 7.30 as OH is away with work so had to take him to the airport. Will definitely be going home early tonight!Ooops.Have had a very large piece of that new cadbury chocolate with the jelly beans and smarties.
Twas very good.
I had a bar after WI on Monday, love it! Think the whole thing is about 12 syns so could be worse (I didn't count it of course but looked it up out of interest, lol!)
Thankyou everyone for all the ideas, and for the common sense and friendship. When I fell off the wagon on sunday I thought about never posting again, but it really does help
I have been thinking all day about the diet, and how I feel. A big part of me is happy with the size I am. I wont say 'happy with the weight I am' because that is not true, but I am a curvy size 12. Ok, I'm probably a 14 as my trousers are very tight, but even so, I don't stand out in a croud anymore.
I love my food. Maybe I could be happy maintaining this size if it meant I could eat all the food I was eating before. I eat VERY healthily. Just lots of it. Maybe I could try and be happy with myself as I am?
Definitely keep posting- I find it really helpful, my SW conscience
Do you think you could be happy as you are? If so it is certainly worth a try. It would be good to work on it anyway as being comfortable in your own skin can be difficult whatever size you are. I know we've had the discussion on here before but it still amazes me how people can vary in size at the same weight and vice versa. I weigh about the same as you, am 5' 11 and am a small 16 on top and a big 16 on the bottom! Mind you, maybe you're 6' 7, I didn't consider that :rotfl:stef240377 wrote: »Just shared the other crunchy one with hubby - well its weigh in night and a post weight treat.
2lb off this week :T:j
Well done Stef, fab loss
Am unsure what to do this weekend - don't have anything planned as such so got the whole time to do what I want, but torn between blitzing the house and doing nothing - a bit of both I think, although I'm not very good at relaxing and always write to do lists that are way too long to actually get done. First job tonight (after feeding the !!!!!cats of course) is to tidy and clean our bedroom including OH's side which he won't normally let me touch (well I did warn him that if he didn't do it before he went I'd do it for him so it's fair game)
Green today:
B: Pineapple, berries, yogurt, 1 weetabix (half, milk (A)
L: Lentil and bacon soup (2), plum
T: Courgette pasta bake (B + half B for cheese)
S: Apple, pineapple, Spiral (6)
Have a great weekend losers!

I know that we are all on diets but you need more than that. If you eat more at Breakfast time you will get your metabolism going and will burn off more during the day than if you exist on nothing all day and then have your dinner!!! Your body won't be awake or functioning until you get your dinner at tea time. I know its hard as its ingrained into our heads that starvation is the only way to lose weight. Not a criticism just some friendly advice:)0 -
:eek:Well I've been slipping all week my syns are going to be sky high after tonights Mexican as well.
Last night I'd three Gin & Tonics and then got stuck into those flippin Special K Crisps - which for the record I wouldn't advise that you buy as once the box is open they are open. Wish they came in individual packets of 21 crisps not just a great big box of them. Surely they should no that the people that buy them are clearly going to be on a diet and therefore probably have issues with portion control:eek: and so packaging them in a big box is not the answer.
I can feel the weight sticking to me this week so not overly looking forward to weigh in on Monday.
Made Chicken Tikka pizza last night on Nimble Bread using Low Low Cheese and loads of vegetables - was absolutely devine!
Hoping the weather is nice Sunday / Monday so I can maybe get some of tonights meal walked off.
Went out to try and get some new trousers the other night as the ones I have are like clown's trousers  now. Came back feeling crap as it would appear that I am between sizes - everything too big in certain areas or too tight or just didn't look right.
So my motivation is dwindling and I'm starting to have thoughts  about giving up the meetings and just doing it myself - which is not good as I know from previous attempts that that is a step away from giving up for me.
Hope we all have a good day today..........................:)0 -

Try not to be disheartened lantanna.:) You probably could manage without a group but it's a good extra bit of support if you can afford it/have the time to go. I wouldn't worry about the trousers. Clothes sizing is certainly not an exact science and I found that I might not drop dress sizes as regularly as losing weight. I'm 5ft 9in and my target weight is 10st 7lbs. In my wardrobe I have clothes ranging from 10s to 14s. It depends on the brand, style etc. I'd wear the baggy ones to remind yourself where you've come from.

IIRC that's because monkee works odd hours. So she's literally fast asleep at our breakfast time but has a large supper to make up for it.0
