Hi ladies can I join in please?

I have just joined SW on line due to not being able to get to the classes on a regular basis and feel I could do with the motivation as I will be doing it alone!

Need/would like to lose 4 stone. I did lose 3 stone a couple of years ago with SW but a stone crept slowly back on and then I gave birth to baby number 4, 4 weeks ago today and seem to have a "spare" 1 stone 6lb to budge aswell :) So all in all my goal is 4 stone.

I have just finished uni until September so am hoping to find a spare 5 minutes to get some exercise back into my routine. I used to go to the gym around 4 times a week prior to my last pregnancy, but due to a difficult pregnancy I had to stop and have not had chance to start up or replace it with anything. So am hoping to ease myself in gently with some walking, and then back to the gym when I am getting some sleep :D

Welcome to our lovely thread :)

  • Welcome aboard all the newbies.

Special thanks to all the congrats for my 2lb LOSS!

Lord knows how I managed to stay on track after last weeks stay the same.... again.. for a few weeks on the trot.

I have had a fab day today, partly due to the support on here, thank you ladies!
    Menu for today as follows:

    B : Banana, Small pear & a small apple.

L: Baked beans, slimming world quiche, leftovers from last night, 2 small slices WW bread, toasted with a scraping of jam. banana & yogurt.

T: Fish cakes which consisted of: 3 boiled spuds, small tin sweetcorn, 2 spring onions, tin tuna in brine, bound with 1 egg and fried in fry light, huge salad with lots of variety.
large tin of rhubarb ( really not sure if I got this right ) warmed with a digestive biscuit crumbed on top & a ww yogurt poured over.
Supper will be 1 curly wurly and a hot chocolate drink.
Oh! 1/2 a piel de sapo melon.
And there's me thinking I was going to cut down on my fruit!

Done 1 hours training on my wii fit today, and burned off a total of 260 cals. So I'm feeling pretty chuffed with myself today.... long may it continue. :)

Total loss = 5 stone 12.5 lbs. / But now GAINED 1 STONE 1.5 LBS!!

    46 weeks!

Right, I'll atempt my post again...

Thanks for all the breakfast ideas people xxxx

Beanie I'm glad you thought my breakfast looked ok  You're right, I should just cut out the fruit for now and see how I go.

CH27 great loss matey, oh I can't have mullerlights because they are not veggie as they put gelitin in them  but they look yummy so I'm sure I'd have loved them.

Lantanna I like the idea of a boiled egg and soldiers, Also thanks for reminding me about cheese triuangles, haven't bought them for ages, you can have 5 or something can't you?:p

Blodwen well done us on no bingeing. I feel so much better already. I always find that I can be totally in control one week, and then fall off the wagon as quick as a flash, before I've even realised it. Especially when people say how well I've done and I start to get a bit smug, then it all falls apart.:o

Thanks for all the breakfast ideas Maman, I wont ea the kippers though if you dont mind as I'm a veggie ;)

Thankyou everyone for all the ideas, and for the common sense and friendship. When I fell off the wagon on sunday I thought about never posting again, but it really does help

I have been thinking all day about the diet, and how I feel. A big part of me is happy with the size I am. I wont say 'happy with the weight I am' because that is not true, but I am a curvy size 12. Ok, I'm probably a 14 as my trousers are very tight, but even so, I don't stand out in a croud anymore.

I love my food. Maybe I could be happy maintaining this size if it meant I could eat all the food I was eating before. I eat VERY healthily. Just lots of it. Maybe I could try and be happy with myself as I am?

The school cook at work is much bigger than me but she is really really attractive. She has a beautiful smile and she dresses really well. She doesn't worry about her weight because she said she loves her food too much. And everyone thinks she's georgous. Even the women. People stare at her when she walks into a room. She ooozes confidence. Maybe I should take a leaf out of her book?
