Thanks Stef. Do I seem to be doing this EE plan right as I don't think I'm losing any? I have cut out bananas because someone told me I wouldn't lose eating those, and cut down on potatoes.
What do you think?
Nite Nite all see you tomoz
Potatoes are high starch as well as a good fibre source, the food standards agency state that 2 egg sized spuds are the equivalent to a portion however SW state these are a free food and you can eat them freely, because they reduce energy slowly they help keep you full for longer. If you are balancing your meals to stay in line with the 1/3rd superfree on EE then theres is no reason you shouldn't lose weight.
If you have concerns you arent losing weight look to see if you are honestly covering 1/3rd of your meals with SF's if you think it is lacking then up them.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

good morning all!
today I try restart my SW journey, going it alone without the help of going to group will be strange - but i'm just not ready to face the world just yetsp please bear with me if I am a complete pain in the Aris asking questions that I may have forgotten :A
The plan for today is :-
B Green tea & lemon, Satsuma,
L chicken, salad leaves, cherry toms
T to be decided??
HEA milk HEB ? not sure will decide later (not very organised for a 1st day am i :rotfl:)
I WAS a lot better than this last time around .....honest I was!0 -
For the person asking about FF - please try all other options before you give this a go & if you are to do it - make sure you have a week totally in your control and NO meals out - it is like a straight jacket - trust me & you will feel incredibly hungry
I have done it 3 times - the first i lost 9lbs (but bare in mind i have gained 8lbs in the 2 weeks before)
Second time i lost 4.5lbs & third time i think i lost 3lbs (but it wasn't a full week)
You will also need an entire day before you start to measure all the portions (or it will take forever during week) & it is not MSE friendly or family friendly
If you still decide to go for it - good luck - you will need it!
This week as been a weird one - brought a chinese on Friday - but hardly made a dent in it - so had it for Saturday tea - but still couldn't finish it - in a way it was better value for money - but in another i actually had to throw food away - i would never used to do that - but damn hormones i can't manage half the amount i used to!
I'm starting to look preggers now - bloated all the time - cant wait to see the little person that is causing it all on Thursday!
New book out tonight (Taste of Asia) - will be treating myself!!!0 -

Morning all, back to it for me today...EE
B - 2 x weetabix (B), Milk (A), Banana
L - Not decided but will rustle up something SW friendly
T - Maggi Paprika chicken, with roasted vegetables (onions, peppers, mushrooms and courgettes) SW chips.
Syns as they happen, had a spoon of sugar in a very strong coffee so far (1 syn) as I need a caffine/sugar boost ZZZzzzzz LOL
Stef or anyone else that doesn't mind could you have a look at a syn value for me please....Aldi, Dairyfine, milk chocolate mini delights, strawberry yoghurt snack sticks.....if not listed nutrition values per 100g are...577cal, 6.2 protien, 51.6 carbs, 50.6 sugar, 38g fat, 22.1 saturates....portion size 18g - Oh dear as I'm typing these out they don't sound good LOL Thank you xx0 -
Welcome dulce:wave:just shout if there's anything you need. Lots find it useful to write their day's menu up (however incomplete!;))
Nessie, I was reading in today's paper that Waitie Katie was wearing the same green coat for St Patrick's day that she wore last year. Can you still wear your normal clothes?
Good advice about FF. I know it exists but I would only try it as a very last resort. For me, it's mainly on account of idleness as I CBA to do all that measuring.

At least you're making a start at getting back to it dizzy, that's what matters. Where's your avatar gone???
I've been allowing myself lots of flexi meals and snacks lately although my basic menu is still SW. Mainly this was because I went way under my target from being ill and needed to get back into the habit of eating. I haven't been to WI for three weeks for various reasons. I'm planning to go this week to make sure I'm still in range.0 -

Thanks both, looks like my daughter will be getting mini chocolate bars in her lunch bag then!!!! :rotfl: They are so not worth 5.5 syns (I'm going on size here as I've not yet tried them!).
Thanks Stef, you are right I did forget to put the syns for the Maggi mix on my menu for today, I would have probably remembered though!0
