Hi Stef
Thanks for your speedy reply. I have a general intolerance, but can have a little bit of hard cheese without a problem. I use alternatives such as Alpro 'yoghurts' and soya milk but I didn't know if these would be really heavy on syns. x
Small alpro soya yogurts are 2 syns each, the 500g pots are 7.5syns per pot. So there are ways you can make this work for you. When/if you sign up you will need to let your consultant know your dietary needs.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

3lb off this week - really surprised, was fully expecting a gain. I do generally have my best losses just after * week and combined with my running training, I think everything balanced itself out somehow.Hello,
I hope you can help me please. I need to lose weight, and want to lose weight so am thinking about joining Slimming World. I am allergic to milk and to artificial sweeteners, do you think I will struggle to find manage with these restrictions?
Thank you in advance.
There's very little on SW that is mandatory and even the stuff that is (Healthy Extras), you have a wide variety to choose from so you'll find something to suit your requirements. I'm lactose interolant, don't eat any soya based products and still cope fine with the dairy free options available. My current addiction for HEA is the chocolate coconut milk by Kara/Koko.
Artificial sweeteners can be completely avoided if you so choose. They're not really featured in the core of the plan, it's more relied upon by some members to have low syn sweet treats. So if you have a sweet tooth, just have a smaller portion of the real stuff to keep within syns and you'll be fine. I only have one product regularly that has them in it (fat free flavoured yogurts - find my body can digest yogurt fine) and I'm slowly phasing that out for fat free natural greek yogurt instead.0
