Hello everyone,
I joined SW on Tuesday as I need the discipline of being weighed at group once a week. It's not the first time I've done SW. I started at 17st 6lbs in 2011 but gave up September of that year. Some of the changes must have stuck though as I've started my new group at 15st and 0.5 lbs.
Looking forward to getting to know you all and swapping recipes and ideas0 -

Stef - I'd have been thrilled with one pound off. I stayed the same yet again. I haven't lost any weight since the New Year.0 -

Welcome to Dizzy, Cranky and Iwant2bslim
I know you are not happy with a 1lb loss Stef, but well done!
After re-evaluating things ( like life in general ) I would be quite content now with a 1lb loss per week.
Can I get off the naughty step now?
I'm getting back to basics, and am going to read the starter pack books. Also will try the Express thingy on Monday for a few days.0 -
Good Morning Chubby Chums,
Just hopping on to say hi and let you know I'm still alive and kicking (next doors cat hasn't got me yet!).
Well, I managed to get through the whole of February staying in control of my eating. I didn't binge for a whole month!
I haven't weighed myself as I always find that Weigh Day equates to Binge Day no matter wether I'm happy with the results or not. If I'm unhappy with what the scales say, I binge because there feels like little point in carying on, however, if I'm happy with what the scales say, I binge because I think I deserve a treat
So, last night I had about 6 Milk Tray chocolates from a HUGE box that a friend bought me as a thankyou. I thought as it was 1st March the next day I could afford a little treat, and renew my quest on 1st of the month. I really really enjoyed the six. If I'm totally honest I ate them quite quickly. I didn't really savour them like I should have done. BUT.... I didn't then go on a have a binge. I sort of wanted to, as that's what I would always do. But I resisted, and just stuck to the chocs. And that was that.
I feel a bit wobbly about it today. I 'should' be bingeing today, even if I don't do it until tonight, because that's what I always do. It would be really unheard of to have only 6 small chocolates, and then stop? What self respecting greedy frog does that? Well, hopefully today, this one...Say it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

That's my first mistake of SW!
Wow, that's a shocker!! Don't fret too much about it, if you stick to eating well until you weigh in, I'm sure you'll be ok.
Stef, try not to be too pigged off by things - I think sometimes plateaus just happen and you just have to keep on with it, although 3 days of SE should def have helped. You are very inspirational here and I am very grateful to you for your help so I hope all goes well.
Hi and welcome to all new folk, great to have you here.0 -
