    Good morning Gang

WI this morning recorded no loss, no gain = STS 23.gif

I can't believe it. That is after being poorly for 4 days and hardly keeping anything in my tummy.

That means I've lost 1lb in the last 2 weeks. My wife is going to laugh herself silly :o

I know this sounds daft, but do you think if I ate more, I would lose weight?

Oh Banjo please don't get disheartened and do try to eat a bit more - I think you would really notice a difference - what have you got to lose (excuse the pun!)

I know it is difficult (from my own experience) but please try ignore your wife is she makes any unhelpful comments - we are all behind you on here ;)

Have been a busy bee today sorting out my daughter and her first ever passport then got bullied into going into Birmingham so she can get a couple of bikinis while they are still plentiful (well i say that, till you see how much material is missing :rotfl:) and went to an all you can eat buffet on a weigh in day!!! Came out the other side smiling as had a plate full of salad and vegetable rice while the others filled up on chinese and indian delights - the swines! Then went and raided HMV as they had dropped alot of the CD's to 70% off very MSE of me. So todays meals are looking pretty good lets just hope the 3 days SE have helped move the digital marker at 7.30pm.

B, huge bowl of melon, pineapple, grapes and strawberries.
L, buffet, veg rice, chicken chow mein (3tbsp worth) cucumber, green pepper, onion, carrots and tomatoes.
T, chunky chilli con carne (maggi mix) boiled rice and no SF as its WI. Piece of orange cake 2syns. May treat self to one full sized choccie bar as its WI instead of the tiny morsels usually have for 5 syns.

Will post my gain on Thursday after weigh in. Denise

Gain wasn't as bad as expected - 5lb - not the half stone I'd expected, so not too bad for a month's holiday and eating off plan.

Definitely back on plan now, starting with a stir fry this evening with a black bean, chilli and garlic sauce. Really looking forward to it.

    Hello!
I'm new to SW and to the forums, had my first weigh in yesterday and lost 3lbs...so far so good!
Just want to check that I'm doing things properly.
If I make yorkshire pudding for example... the eggs are free, could I use the milk as HeA, use fry light instead of oil and just syn the flour?! Or do I have to syn the whole thing...the book says 4.5 syns for 50g which seems quite a lot

    :)

    All welcome!:)

I'd say your reasoning is correct for making your own yorkshires. The values in the book are probably for Aunt Bessie's or a carvery or something like that where there's more oil built in.

Hi, please HELP!! I am descending into the pit of Eating Rubbish. I started off peckish after dinner so had an Alpen light bar, then another and now I have just started on my little boy's Kinder bars. I need something to tell myself, so that I don't just get into that 'Oh sod it' mentality. Doing well so far but just losing it tonight!!
Please tell me off so that I don't undo all my work - that 'gain a pound lose a pound' thing is so demotivating.

    Thanks

    Ina
