I was the one who mentioned the Maggi range as am doing a trial for them. Are there any flavours inparticular you are looking at?

Hi Stef, we actually bought the Paprika and the chasseur so if I can have those please, but I would like to try others in the range so would be really interested to hear how your trial of them goes :)

The paprika one is 4.5syns per sachet on EE. The Chasseur is not showing on syns online.
I tried the Tuscan sausages and mexican chicken last week and they were really good. When you split the syns per serving its a quick easy meal for very few syns, i think the most syns in the so juicy range is 8.5 per sachet so just over 2syns per person.

  • Just thought I would also share this with you all too, I have the Philadelphia cookbook that I have dragged out of the cupboard earlier today and looking through the book it seems that alot of the recipes are already SW friendly by using the philly as an A choice or with small tweeks can be made to fit.

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Philadelphia-Cookbook-Heavenly-Recipes-Using/dp/0091922828#_

We are going to try some Lime and Corriander chicken tomorrow or Tuesday from the book. We have decided to replace the philly with quark though to make it even lower in fat then as it'll be a 'green day' we are serving it on a bed of lemon and corriander cous cous. I'll let you all know how it turns out :)

Ok thanks for looking, if we say 2 syns per person for the Chasseur as well then don't think we'll be far wrong....Mmm the Mexican one appeals, I think I'll be looking out for that next time :)

It was the BBQ chicken one that was highest in syns. You could always put the nutritional values on here for me to input online to get the correct values.
The mexican one was so easy - slice a couple of peppers and onion throw it all in the bag with chicken and forget about it in the oven for 40 mins job done. Did serve with rice and extra veg to ensure 1/3 sf was acheived.

Thank you - Chasseur values: (each serving) 220 Calories, Protine 38.6g, Carbs 10.4g, 4.5g Sugar, 2.4g Fat, 0.6 Saturates, 2g salt. Hope that is enough info if there is anything else you need let me know.

I actually think being back at work tomorrow will help lol!!!

First time I've ever heard someone look forward to the big O!!;)I'd suggest you work on a meal plan for the next few weeks. Being busy and stressed is a fatal mixture for just grabbing rubbish. Oh, and beware well-meaning colleagues who bring in goodies to keep the spirits up!
