  • Good morning Gang

Well done Sharalee on your 1 stone loss :T

I haven't been posting meal plans recently as I'm unwell like Rob. It started Friday morning and has got worse.

I have a suppressed immune system and looks like I've finally caught DDs bug :(

Well done sharalee on your loss.

Banjo and Rob, get well soon. Lots of bugs going round at the minute.

Naff nights sleep for me was awake every hour on the hour, seem to have got a chill in my neck and shoulder so extremely painful to move it even with a heat pack on so looks like a day doped up on pain killers to try and feel normal. Looking forward to roast dinner tonight, i love sunday dinners.

    Good morning everyone.
I hope Banjo and Rob get better soon .
Well done Sharalee on your 1 stone :-) thats brilliant

    Today for me EE
Brunch 2 rashers of bacon, an egg, mushrooms, chopped tomatoes.
D chicken, potatoes, cabbage and broccoli.with gravy (2syns)
    Snacks fruit and a mullerlite
On the night shift today so taking weetabix (heb) and skim milk (hea), also left over sw stew....its a long 12 hour shift..I may not need all this but its better to have it with me. I will also take some fruit for the munchies that I sometimes get on nights.

Hope you all have a great Sunday.
    Jue :)
  • I am considering joining SW tomorrow. Been trying to go it alone with portion control and cal counting but not doing very well.
  • Good morning all

Scales showing a 1lb loss today, which surprised me as I woke up feeling all bloated and heavy. Feeling better after my run though, love my Sunday morning run as it's so quiet out. Will take any peace I can get in London!

Breakfast: Porridge (HEB, water) with blueberries
Lunch: Thinking cheesy omelette (HEA) with loads of SF veg added
Dinner: Roast pork (fat removed - neither of us like crackling anyway!) with SW roasties, veg and gravy (1.5)
Snacks: Pre-run banana, apple, banoffee activia (1)

Haven't decided how to use the rest of my syns yet. Probably another lemon fancy (5.5) and a hot choc (2).
  • Morning all, well done Sharalee on your 1 stone :T

I weighed this morning and even after last nights bad behaviour I have lost 1/4 lb (I think maybe last night has not had an effect yet, might pay for it next week!) - so not fab but a loss all the same :)

Scones are between 7-17 syns each when shop bought, As yours are homemade you would have to work out the syns of all components and divide by the amount made. Sugar free jam is half a syn per teaspoon. Standard double cream is 3.5syns per tablespoon, maybe less as yours is lower fat content but it doesnt mention that on syns online.

Thanks Stef your a pal. I think I'll leave the scone out until I've worked it outicon14.gif.

Breakfast 35g Oat Bran porridge made with skimmed milk/water (used A & B HE's) Banana

Lunch Mushy peas and fishcake (7 syns) Few grapes

Dinner Pitta Bread (7 syns) Huge salad and grilled chicken
    Mullerlight yoghourt

OMG is it really too much?? I do seem to be eating a fair bit, but the vegies seem a lot when it's written down.

No that's absolutely fine. Please don't cut back on quantity if you're enjoying it. One of the principles behind SW is you can eat plenty. Being hungry is one of the reasons many people give up on diets. Just a reminder that mushy peas (while good and SS) aren't SF. You've probably had enough with your salad and banana but just to be aware.

mich, your meal looks great especially the professional looking SW chips. Any tips on how to get them like that?

I microwave the chips / wedges for around 4 mins.. Have a non stick new baking tray just for doing chips.. spray with frylight then spray the chips.. add seasoning.. these had paprika and garlic salt on.. shake up then into a very hot oven.. give them a shake up again midway thru so they don't stick :)
