    :T fluff, that's a brilliant loss.

Glad you're still around banjo, I was afraid you'd been stuffing yourself with 12 sandwiches.

Smileys are really cheering me up, thanks for posting them. It's good to be lighthearted.

I have to admit that I really do very little exercise. I do one dance class a week and that's about it. I'm sure exercise is good for you but.....:o

I've never tried converting SW intake to calories. I can't imagine it would be low. I know we limit the seriously calorific things as syns but surely all the carbs must be high or perhaps not considering we don't have them covered in butter and cream an oil and cheese and.......

Well, I'm back full of vigour, vim and everything else!:) Tried a different group this week and will be settling there. Million times better than the old one because the consultant is enthusiastic, friendly and helpful. Stayed to the talk after weigh-in and it was fine. A bit boring as they go round every single person with pretty much the same to share but hey, that's part of SW I guess. There were 25-30 people so it took a fair while.

I hope to lose at least a pound this week and am doing Food Diary sheets again.

Well i have had my 'sod SW blow out' and will be back on the wagon tomorrow. Can say that stomach is definitely shrinking as struggling to manage normal portions so really glad i didnt go for one of the Mega ones, infact mine was off the lights menu! Had a kung po chicken with rice and 4 little prawn crackers then the pudding menu came out and thought all the veggies in the main was far too SW friendly so went for the choc fudge sundae:rotfl: now home to enjoy the rarest of the rarest bottle of wine. Why not pull all the stops out after all.
Meals all planned now right up till weigh in, normal EE till monday then on the SE wagon till weigh in. Shopping bought before meal so no excuses now.

  • Hi all,

well I think I am doing ok, still maintaining without group, what I have been doing is behaving (mostly) and still swapping some foods (e.g. smash which is free rather than oven chips) with many meals but also allowing myself to eat some foods I 'banned' whilst doing SW strictly.

Trying to settle on some snacks for work that are healthy - I can't wait for summer when I feel like fresh veg sticks and salads rather than chocolate and sweet treats!

Mmmm we have just had this for tea....

    http://www.slimmingeats.com/blog/potato-topped-chicken-and-spinach-pie

But as neither of us like spinach we swapped that for finely chopped leeks and mushrooms, it was totally yummie :D As we were on a green day we used the chicken as a B choice and it was just the right amount. We served it with our usual cauliflower, broccoli, carrots and sprouts.

We have also prepared this for tomorrow evening...

Evening all, the last couple of days have been not so good but hopefully todays loooooooong walk to Mum's then the crematorium for work colleagues husbands funeral will have worked off the rubbish bits. Was very sad especially when their 9yr old son read his dedication to his dad, not a dry eye in the house. Even the big burly coppers [he was a policeman] were wiping their eyes. They did a police escort for him as well as either guard of honour or carrying the coffin [so many people there we couldn't see]. Today is also the day we buried our own son 28yrs ago. A very emotional day Crying-Smiley.jpg

    Food has been better today
    B - weetabix milk [a] 3 coffees
L - hm carrot & lentil soup, wm roll
    S - choc orange thin [3.5]
    T - cheesy mash [a], toms,onion,mushroom, t/sauce [1], spaggy hoops [was too much, couldn't eat it all]
    Syns - 4.5
Totally stuffed, drained and ready for bed pillow.gif
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
