Your son will have a super fast metabolism compared to you though Stef cos he's young.
You have done brilliantly & should be very proud of yourself. :T
Losing weight let alone keeping it off is a lot harder than thin people think it is.
I was over 16 stone when I started nearly 5 weeks ago & need to get down to 13 stone before I can have my surgery. It is very daunting but I know that with the help & support of you and the other guys on this thread i'll be able to do it. :A
I'd be happy to be a size 16 & haven't been a size 12 since my teens.:rotfl:
I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.

Good Morning Merry Gang
Yes Stef, you have done brilliantly :T
When I was in my late teens and felt a wobble coming on, I could drop 10 lbs on a 5 day Mon to Fri diet.
Ahhhhh those were the days
Haven't planned today yet. Just been out in the garden with the dog and its brass monkeys.
Catch you all later :wave:0 -
Morning all,
Well done Mich on your loss and 10%, and Stef on you Body Magic award. Sorry you're disappointed about STS and the leaders weren't very helpful. Tbh I think this is where most slimming clubs fall down - I know leaders are trained and have to do exams etc but if there's something they haven't seen before and trianing hasn't covered it they're stumped, and I think most people would have given up by this point. It's only your determination to lose weight for yourself and be there for your son that has kept you going to class- if the same happens next week I reckon you should throw your toys out of the pram and tell them that!Yep, I'm pretty sure I've read it here recently but perhaps someone else will confirm. Could I also ask about the Oat So Simple instant porridges - are they allowed as Hex? Just really handy to take to work .
Yep, OSS is no longer a HEB but WW and Mornflake sachets (which have more in them than OSS anyway) are a HEB. I used to use them but now tend to weigh out 35g oats and take them to work in a container as works out much cheaper, and you get more than you did in OSS
I'm in a great mood today- not sure if it's exercise, fresh air or the fact that it's Friday, but not going to complain! Walked in again today and OH came with me, so went on a slightly longer route. It's the low traffic route I've planned for us to use when we start cycling in, so thought we could do a bit of a recce, plus I love wandering (more like marching this morning!) around different parts of the city - love looking at the architecture and we go quite far uphill so get some good views. Also go past 2 premiership football grounds, which is a bit unusual and keeps OH interested even though footy isn't his sport! According to Endomondo I burnt close to 700 cals, and am taking the same route back tonight, so all good for WI on Mon. Legs are a little sore but would be nice to keep this up a few days a week in prep for the cycling!
Think I'll have a green day today:
B: Weetabix (B), milk (A), banana
L: OH treating me to a JP, beans and salad in the canteen!
T: Probably pasta, roast veg and lowlow spread sauce (B)
S: Coconut Options (2) (been looking for this for months and finally got some last night - if you like coconut this is GORGEOUS!), 4 squares Galaxy Bubbles (6)
Anyone doing anything nice over the weekend? OH is out tonight so going to get some washing done then have quality time with the kitties in front of the TV, DIYing tomorrow then got friends round in the evening, then getting one of the cats groomed for the first time on Sunday - her knots have finally got too much for me to do and she gets too grumpy for me to keep my hands near her teeth!
Have a great Friday peeps!2011: [STRIKE]Houses[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]weddings[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]cats[/STRIKE]

Morning All :hello:
I am just posting quickly from work, on a half day today so best get some actual work done! I am trying for a success express day today, could not see a 7 day Sucess Express Menu on SW website, I am assuming only members can access that area
I hope this looks ok, I have left my phone at home so can't text DH to tell him to take the mexican chicken out the freezer, so I hope its defrosted in time
So SE today
B - Melon & pineapple, natural yoghurt (more melon than pineapple)
L - Cheese & onion toastie (A &, lettuce, cucumber, peppers, beetroot followed by melon
D - Mexican Chicken, broccoli & cauliflower
S - Banana, toffee muller
Ryvita & Laughing cow light for 2nd A & B
Is that ok? I am going to try do another SE day on Monday/Tuesday when I can get my head around it all & plan better.
Have a good day all, we have decorator in all weekend so house will be up in arms & prob won't get on as router will be disconnected, so may not get back on until Monday, have a good one everyonex

Thanks Stef, I will get some strawberries when I am shopping later & have some of them with my riyvita later, I love my veg, prob half my plate was filled with broccoli last night so no probs having 2/3
I have probably just ate about 1/2 melon & 1/4 pineapple :TGratitude is the best Attitude :T

Stef - i know this might sound totally backwards (& by all means ignore me) - but what about trying a couple of days or even a week using more syns etc. or totally changing your typically brekkie or dinner - sounds strange - but if your body is used to the amount of food you usually give it - then it works to that amount - mix it up a bit - confuse your body & you might be surprised!0

I just can't get inspired today.
Just feel like a sandwich
But
I need to set some targets. I am halfway through my 12 week countdown. I have lost 12lbs. I need to lose a further 12lbs to achieve Club 10 target. I was born on the 12th. We have just booked DDs Birthday party for the 12th of a month. There are 12 months in a year and there are 12 signs of the Zodiac. We have 12 legs in our family ( 4 pairs of human legs and 4 for the dog). Our cars have 12 wheels between them (hmm, not counting spares though). I am having 12 king prawns tonight.
Hmmmmmm :think:0
