  • Well I'm on the school run now, just sitting waiting in my car.
I was going to donate the valentine chocolate cake I baked to DD's school cake sale tomorrow. But DD cried when I suggested it as she loves my choc cakes, bless her. So have baked a dozen muffins this afternoon, so have my work cut out to decorate them later.

I only mentioned Joe's sausages because they are pushed at our group. Some person/persons always asking for us to order and say will bring orders to Group. Not only pushed at Group but on Group's FB too. Just find it a bit too pushy. Obviously trying to make money from a captive audience.

Hope you get your Club 10 target mich_city

:Ton your 2lbs banjo. we used to have a sausage person came to our group but stopped when SW took away the endorsement. I quite liked the smoky chicken sausages they used to do. Now I buy the Sainsbury's ones at 0.5 syns. We have a butcher who's actually doing SW and he sells to our group. I haven't bought from him yet (waiting for freezer space) but his prices are good and all visible fat removed!!

I can't find this either but the vegetable pilau is 4 and most other express rice pouches are 3-4 so I'd probably go for that.

Thanks both. Blodwen I'd guessed at 4 myself so I think I'll call it that - Hmmm not sure how well I'll do today I'm already at 7.5 syns and have just realised we are out of potatoes so we must have oven chips instead ;)

grandsons just knocked on with box of chocs for valentines and coz im not feeling well oh nooooooooo lol;)
  • Happy Valentine's Day all. Hope you're having a lovely evening if you're celebrating. We don't, so just normal EE today...

Breakfast - Porridge (HEB) with berries and banana
    Snack - Apple
Lunch - Sushi (2) with salad
Snack - Handful of popcorn (estimating 3)
Dinner - Tuna, jacket potato with sprinkling of cheese (0.5 HEA) and veg
Pudding - "Ice cream" made with small frozen banana and choc kara (0.5 HEA + 4 syns)

I know the reasoning behind it, but don't really agree with pureed fruits being synned. But I had an otherwise good day, so had the syns to spare. Was worth it too - really sorted that ice cream craving.

Oooh that's just reminded me of something I used to do last summer.....Take a fresh pineapple and cut it into long thick chunks (about the size of an ice lolly) then skewer it. Wrap then freeze....once frozen eat like an ice lolly, it tastes very similar to a Solero but completely free of syns :) Enjoy! :D
