I had a No Spend June but I finally succumbed ...
I bought a gorgeous top from Select yesterday, not what I usually wear, lots of flowers and lace. So summery.
It's one of those tops that could be a really short dress, so ideal to hide lumps, bumps and muffin tops. This good weather has meant that I have been wearing clothes that haven't been worn in a while. My leggings had holes in, argh, so two new pairs of leggings too.
So £20 spent, £22 spent for the year of a £100 budget.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
I needed some summer shoes. Been really really hot since this heatwave started. Interestingly nearly all my spending this year has still been shoe related.
In the sale @next I bought
Gladiator Sandals (brown) £10
Gladiator Sandals (gold) £12
Winter slippers (to put away for colder weather haha) £8
Summer slippers £5
Then in Asda I bought some gym clothes @£20
So that brings my yearly total to £94.98
I was a bit annoyed at having to spend anything but it showed me how hard I have been trying and I did buy "needs" rather than "wants". There were lots of things in the sale I really wanted but I didn't buy them. An achievement for meTime for some debt busting in 2015 - Light Bulb Moment 4/4/15

Just checking in to declare a spend...
I am VERY proud of myself as i ordered £190 worth of stuff in my n3xt VIP sale slot. I have however only kept some £6 slippers and a £3.50 baby top which is to be used as a gift (this doesnt count anyway)
So new total is £91/£120
The slippers were a genuine need - i hinted at some for christmas and birthday but they never materialised. My frugal determination is about to my tested though as the new n3xt catalogue has just been delivered. And it has dresses. With Pockets. I am an absolute sucker for dresses with pockets!:rudolf: DF by Xmas 2018: #83 £8,250/£15,000 55% :rudolf:

More confessions from me too though not too bad.
Dress from UO in sale that I loved at full price of £75 got for £20 and worn it loads already...I love it.
Went to Carboot on sunday looking for house stuff and bought one dress for me for £1. Still not sure it's really me. But if not I'll use the fabric for something else. I also got a Dark green pure silk skirt from Topshop for £1 that I am altering and know I will wear.
So that's £22.00 to add to my total.
I did pick up other bargains at the boot sale including a vintage 50's/60's dress in an amazing print cotton for 50p. It was in too bad condition for wearing but I'm making it into cushions for my new bedroom ( already cut up!!)Grocery challenge October: £228.28/£250.00 NSD 4 ( not completed)

Confession time when I'm reunited with my receipts from last weekend.
I fear my true LBM is yet to come, I am finding it so damn hard to just STOP SPENDING!!!
Think I might start a diary...“Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goals.”

I have spent £126.71 on clothes and shoes this month

Total is now £249.71/£300
I got some good bargains (reversible roxy board shorts for £6 instead of RRP £59) but did I need all of it? Probably not.
The fact is I have spent £304.66 more than my salary this month. I need to take this whole venture more seriously. Off to start a diary...“Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goals.”
