Thanks miss empty piggy, I have been ruthlessly getting rid of stuff too over the months, which is good as I am getting a much clearer idea of what kind of stuff I like to wear regularly rather than just buying things on a whim because I like them (or think I like them at the time) and then end up never wearing them or wear them once and feel guilty at having spent so much on them so end up keeping them in the wardrobe! Getting rid of things has been quite liberating really
I can fully understand the saying people often use, something like ' she has a wardrobe full of clothes but says she has nothing to wear' That used to be me!Dont wait for your boat to come in 'Swim out and meet the bloody thing'0 -

I know what you mean, I have some lovely clothes that I'm going to "slim into" in my wardrobe, including clothes that I can't throw away yet as they remind me of happy (slimmer) times. I know that sounds daft but I am on my way to a stone off so I need to have a try on and be honest about whether I'm just keeping it because eventually it will fit or whether I do ACTUALLY like it or not.
thanks for the inspiration :rotfl:0 -

Hello all,
This impending cruise is crippling my attempts to curb my clothes spending. Spent another £115 in Debs on 4 tops and a dress. Still need some trousers/skirts yet too.
I'm not going to need to buy any clothes for a few years afterwards though!0 -

*Creeps in*
Sorry! I disappeared for a bit, so I'm going to update as much as I remember lol!
In the past few months I have bought:
Dress for a wedding £40 reduced from £65
Shoes for same wedding £16 reduced from £20
Bag as above £12
Handbag for everyday as my old one finally gave up the ghost £25 (RRP £50) from TK Maxx
Jeans £12 - I was after a much nicer pair, but I want to lose the stone I've put on in the last 8 months or so before forking out for nice ones, but I did need a pair that fit
and £20.00 replacing my walking trainers.
Overall I appear to have stuck to what I said I was buying to yay me!! lol
#50 total spend of £157.99/240!!
Given I'd fallen off the MSE wagon I'm amazed I'm still in budget! wow! Just £80 odd for the rest of the year though!
Hi to everyone btw0
