Right - I've unsubscribed from 7 shops which were in my inbox and I'll unsubscribe from any others as the arrive. My inbox is going to be so quiet!

    Hello,

Haven't been on here in ages (although I do get daily email updates) because I was getting into the danger zone with my budget and thinking about not spending money on clothes just makes me want to spend money on clothes.

Anyway, I bought a pair of trainers in April (Asics Nimbus) = £65.67 which brought me up to £276.05 but I had a no spend May :j and haven't bought anything so far in June, so I'm just about back on target for my £500 budget :) Now maybe it's safe to come back on here and talk to you lovely ladies again.

I like the idea of setting challenges :)

How about an unsubscribe challenge? I will unsubscribe from all mailing lists from clothing shops so I'm not tempted by the many, many sales and discount emails that seem to be constantly landing in my inbox. Who's with me?

So lovely to see you back! :T

And that sounds like a great idea for a challenge - at work at the mo so not supposed to be on MSE, will delve into the inbox later tonight!! :D

I unsubscribed a couple of years ago from all those clothes shop emails - worked a treat for me!

Halfway through another No Spend month and trying really hard to stay on track. 2 weeks to go and I'm there! If I stick to this I'm on track for the year so I'm determined to stick to my resolve

Good luck everyone - we're halfway through the challrnge now

    Hello all,

Well, the shopping for our big holiday in September has started this weekend with a BANG!

I've bought a debut dress in half price sale and a Star tunic from Debs - £97. 50 but used £50 of vouchers from surveys so £47.50

2 pairs of trousers and a dress from Asda £44 and then 2 tops from Next £26 - £70 but had £80 birthday money so still £10 up but....

...then we went shopping again yesterday and I bought 3 tops from Next for £50 and an order came from my catalogue for £72 for a skirt, dress and a tunic taking me £112 into my budget.

    Total to confess £159.50:eek:

Have just some tiny spends to report. Went to a carboot at the weekend and bought 3 dresses for £6.00 for wearing to work and 50p for a pair of slippers from Primarni.

  • Confession time... I spent £49.99 on a pair of running trainers and £14.99 on a pair of leggings. Both were need though as I've been running with some girls from work for a few weeks now and wee're hitting the 5k mark.

Total is now £134.98/250 for no 43 looking fairly on target for halfway through the year.

2 new vests for £6, signature updated. Have been looking for vests in ribbed fabric as it seems to keep shape for longer, mission successful.

  • Been off the grid for a wee while on here. Just updated myself on all of your posts and seems like everyone's doing really well.

I went to Edinburgh in May and spent £80 on a dress, two dressy tops, two pairs of linen trousers, t shirt and vest top. Felt great. Love them all (although the trousers are a bit big) so very happy with my purchases. So need to update my signature for May/June. Well done everyone, we're doing brilliant. x
