028 mcclloch29 - £100 - I was confused, are you counting the DGC spends in your budget?

Brings my total to £22.80.

£8.50 for me today
I have blown the idea of a spend-free April, so May will need to be a no spend month! We are being taken out for a swanky celebration lunch (ooh, it's a tough life sometimes) so I treated myself to a black and white (chanel tweed-stylee) pencil skirt from the red cross shop which, to be frank, makes my bum look pretty marvellous!
I've just switched on The Great British Sewing Bee. I wish I could sew! I shall have to find a means to learn...
Also wearing my new apple green polo today. LOVE it!“Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goals.”

I have well and truly broken the seal on my clothing challenge this week
Went to M&S for new undies. It was very overdue because I don't remember buying any at all last year and my bras are not as supportive as they once wereI've got 3 new bras and some pants because I can't resist a multipack once I am in the shop. I will have to clear out my underwear drawer now because all those bras won't fit in there at once!

Finally spent something...!
£1 on a blue long flared skirt for lolling around in on Sundays (from the X Catalogue shop sale), and £1 (well 99p) on a multi-coloured (mostly cream/light brown/greens) Wallis top from the 'everything's 99p' Barnardo's Charity Shop. Was not leaving that behind. It's VERY low cut but I have lovely matching scarves to cope with that.
90% of what the 99p CS has is worn out or shapeless carp, (but they do eventually recycle it) a further 5% of what is wearable is size 10 or below, but there is the odd gem.
So No 29 £2/£100.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
I'm still on track with a NS April - returned the jeans I ordered as way too skinny on my legs. They were only £8 but hey,no point keeping them when too skinny.
No pennies to spend for the rest of the month so I should be able to claim my first no spend month and I was very good today putting back a heavily reduced skirt with the thought I don't need it, I have enough skirts already!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

sigh. sensible, classic black shoes bought for funeral of close family member. So no spending month.
However, I discovered that 2 items are now wearable due to weight loss after nasty virus. These were added to items refreshed via black dye that was already in the flat.‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.
