Afternoon All
Got breast reconstruction & tummy tuck op coming up so needed to buy decent jamas, dressing gown, slippers etc. for hospital stay. Also BIG GIANT bras & support knickers - lovely (and three nice tops in the sale to cheer me up when I get out)
Total spent for March = £199.39
Running total for #38 = £263.39 / £500
El2018 AFD 23/240
2018 CCC #11 £38.40/£250
Mortgage-free since 2013
Debt-free since Nov 20170 -
Loving those jumping jacks.
Total spends this month, bra £12, top £10, reduced slipper boots £8 all Next. Sent back the other stuff, phew!
My new walking shoes were great for the first week, but I can't wear them any more as one of them is a bit too tight and rubs me painfully, so I will ebay them and deduct the sale from my balance. I'm making do with my old shoes.
My ebay jeans were a great fit, and didn't stink to high heaven of cigarette smoke by the 3rd wash :rotfl:
So, new total:
#12 £83.50/£300
I also got a cool zip up Victory hoodie for Mother's Day but that doesn't count as it was a present0 -
VERY sorry for missing over 2 months! I had been incredibly busy and completely swamped with everyday stuff such as exams, work etc!
I am happy however to declare following
January - 0 spend
February - 0 spend
March - 0 spend!
Cannot wait to catch up on everyone's messages!!!

Well done hayley! You are rightly proud of yourself with that wonderful result!
It has inspired me to have a go at a No Spend April - I have everything I need and I keep reminding myself I do not need any more clothes - here's hoping I stay strong and can do it.I'm going to take it week by week and see if I can get therefinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
I had to go buy some bras! My black bra was getting threadbare and my nude one was erm, not so nude any more.
Also as I've gone up a dress size, my bust has increased too and that whole four boobs look is not a good oneSo I got a two pack, one black and one nude in M&S for £12.50.
Which brings my total for March to £74.49 and my total overall up to £210.08 / £500. So much for "no spend" March. I'm not going to make any such declaration for April as I'm still cracking on with the Couch 2 5k plan and am planning on celebrating today's 20min run with a new pair of trainers (I had gait analysis done at the weekend).
I was just thinking, I may have to revise the way I count regarding vouchers, basically if the voucher was earned (doing MSE things) then I have to count it in my clothing budget (because I'll have counted it already in my Earn £2013 challenge and I don't want to double count) but if the voucher was a gift then perhaps I shouldn't count it (because if they just bought me something I wouldn't count it). In my budget / spending diary I count everything though (all vouchers etc) so it could get confusing if I do it differently for this challenge. I think I'll crack on counting all vouchers for now but it could get reviewed.... (at the moment I've spent £10.81 from earned vouchers and £20 from gift vouchers but I'm about to spend a £30 gift voucher to get the trainers). Anyway, out loud musings - I know everyone does it differently!0 -
Evening All
sorry for being away for so long. Had a mammoth two weeks before BH weekend and had a problem with internet for a week also so couldn't get on. Am majorly behind with keeping on top of everything but I have two weeks off now so hopefully I will be able to get back to normal.
I've got a query, I haven't spent anything on my budget yet but DOH bought me some new tops on Saturday for £50.00. Feel like I should count it as money has been spent on clothes for me, so think I would maybe be a fraud not declaring it. What do you think? x0 -
Happy April everyone :j
I am happy to declare a No Spend March, this run will end shortly as I am planning to go into town tomorrow to replace my bras (much needed!) and there is always something else to tempt me in the shops
For the moment .... # 22 reporting £0/£200 spent!No more buying unnecessary toiletries 2018
35 UU / 13 unnecessary ins0
