Oops bought some lovely new shoes off Ebay last night - £10.65 - blue, peep toe, high.
My excuse = I need new summer work clothes so I don't actually boil to death in our non-air conditioned office.
Loving the trouserless challenge by the way! Great idea to break out of habit...I will draw on reserves of courage and get my pins out...!Sealed Pot Challenge - No. 117
Bank of Mum & Dad - £3150/£10,000 (£6850 to go) Bank of In Laws - £4600/£12,000 (£7400 to go)

Why thank you! I think I need a few more challenges... Perhaps two Freedom Fridays per month? I think every week would be a bit much to begin with but I am loving wearing some different clothes this week!
Or perhaps I should lead and do the Freedom Fridays regardless, and anyone who fancies joining can announce themselves and do so on a "drop-in" basis..!
Today was the first outing of a totally gorgeous navy polka dot new skirt I bought (tut tut, not even declared it yet... need to sort out returning a couple of bits but have to either go to the shop or organise a courier collection, seems a faff. BUT two of the things I bought don't fit, so they have to go back), but back the to the point, I wore it with a pair of ballet pumps that have been languishing at the back of the wardrobe all winter and a turquoise long sleeved t shirt. Cheerful colours and polka dots, AND freeing a pair of shoes - what could be better?!
So if anyone has ideas for mini-challenges whether they be no spending, clothes freeing, simply smartening ourselves up or anything else, please pipe up or pm either me or CK... I do like a good challenge, especially if it can distract me at work... :rotfl:“Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goals.”

Your outfit sounds lovely lotti.
I have just bought a pair of new Next trousers off eBay for £8 including delivery. I am also bidding on a tailored dress which would be great for work (and a departure from my usual trousers, top, cardi look)
Am too stupid to update signature on phone but will pop back tomorrow to do it.
After this dress I must definitely step away from eBay!!Sealed Pot Challenge - No. 117

Finally broke on a lovely sleeveless red top to go out in on sat night. Was having a major panic so at 10 to 5 went to the shop. Paired it with white linen trousers and red heels and I felt nice and summery. I'll be able to wear it during the day too so all round not a bad panic buy. Will also update when on the pc but just popped on to say hello really x x x0

(shuffles quietly into room)
No, I haven't forgotten you, I just keep remembering to update when I'm away from my laptop.
So, declarations...- My FIRST ever summer hat, a brilliant straw cowboy hat from Sainsburys £5 (why haven't I bought a summer hat before?!)
- A practical pair of summer trainery pumps, also Sainsburys £8 (for when it's just a bit too chilly to expose one's toes)
- Pack of 3 sockettes to make above pumps more comfy
from Next £5
- Casual pale green striped summer blazer from Next, £45 looks so good with jeans and my other summer jacket, a red Levi denim number, is 20 years old so I can justify that one.
- Oh-so-comfy nude wireless bra, also Next £12 (threw out stupid scratchy lace wired bra that felt like I was wearing a pair of exfoliating mitts on my chest)
- summer nightie £22, M&S, using £20 voucher earned through surveying, so inc delivery £4. Expensive, yes, but some of my nighties are 20 years old and this one has wide shoulder straps to stay on my almost non existant shoulders and is actually stylish too. Can I put 20yr old nightie into DH's rag bag? Nooooooo! the embroidered polar bears will be so sad!
2013 Clothes Challenge #12 £162.50/£300
After digging out my summer wardrobe I can see myself blowing the target quite spectacularly, but I shall keep declaring my purchases and balance just to make everyone else feel smug at doing so much better than me.

Hi all, a quick update from me no 13!
Spent £18.99 in April on a top I love
Had a wee splurge of £37.50 today on new work clothes.
Total £56.49/3000 -
Oh dear had a bit of blip the other week.......and I blame it on a rare going out for lunch and meeting family on a Friday lunchtime, catching up, and finding that a chain pub in the town centre was doing a great meal deal that included a drink at a very reasonable fiver or about - So who am I to argue with that?Much cheaper than the cafes round it.
But I don't usully drink on a lunchtime so I just relaxed soooooo much more ......and so did my grip on my purse:o and I only had one drink!
The only redeeming factor was that purchases were in CS shops - any way following bought and have been worn and not scowled at afterwards
Mustard batwing top with feather design -£2.50
Teal and blue boho style dress £2.70
Wierd arty logo t shirt (for festivals) £2
and I also bought a dodgy looking black T shirt for 50p to try a few ways of up doing it up by cutting into it making spaghetti strips along neckline and sleeves - it worked but I overdid it on the arm bit so might have to re think about that one - might just rip the whole sleeves out
So that's an extra £7.70 to add for me making my total now
no. 004 £12.68/£100
Serves me right for a having a pint at lunchtime I suppose:rotfl:

So close to a no spend April! I bought a £20 Dotty P's jumper.
Well £20 - 30% offer - £10 voucher = £4
£4 isnt too bad is it? Its a pale blue crochet style lightweight jumper for when i'm feeling summery but the weather isnt
On a another summery note, i have recently bought some lime green nail varnish! Thought it would jazz things up a bit

Still no purchases to declare though I have ordered some jeans online but Hubby's going to pay for them. I was going to wait for a few months and use some possible birthday money but he says he's sick of watching me hoiking my jeans up every 2 minutes!
Going out with a friend tonight so going to try a freedom Friday on a Monday and hunt out something I've not worn in ages.
debbiedj, very envious of your CS buys, I can never find anything in CSs!0
