No 29 Reporting a no spend January £0/£100
:money::money::j
On DD's Kindle Fire this evening which is an interesting typing experience. It took me about 10 minutes to notice the suggested words list but I'm getting the hang of it now.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -

Morning all!
No.4 declaring a no spend January:T
DD3 spent yesterday evening doing a proper sort out of her clothes and wardrobe - checked all undies, socks ,tights for damage and got rid as necessary then went through ALL her drawers and re jigged everything so all hung up neatly and in some order too.
She even went through all makeup and jewelery! Marvellous.
SO I ended up with three huge piles of stuff in my roomso went back through it all and now have a pile for charity ,one for her sisters to go through and I picked out two plain cardis(in fact one was mine anyway) a pair of casual grey three quarter length joggers(perfect for slobbing around in)- any left I will ebay.
Sorted the bag of jewellery - kept beads and some necklaces-the really younger girly stuff passing onto a friends little girl and got rid of tired makeup, need to clean the brushes but I can use and the rest her sisters can fight over whats left.
It's my birthday this month so I will probably do my majority of spending this time - need to follow DD3 suit and go through my stuff again too.
My problem is how to know what to keep so then I can call it "vintage" and not look like mutton dressed as lamb!:rotfl:Crazy Clothes Challenge 2012 £57.20/£100,CCC 2013 £68.67/£100 ,CCC 2014 £94.32/£100

#52 checking in to report 0/£500 which also means I have achieved 1/9 no spend months
Technically I am in credit as I returned a top I bought for DH at Christmas and got a refund as when I came to put it away I realised he had 2 others which were very similar.
The challenge for Feb will be that I have some M&S vouchers which expire this month so I will try to use them to buy presents rather than something for myself - wish me luck:D0 -
#048 declaring £6-£500 spent in January
Not a no spend month but if someone had told me last year that I would only spend £6 on clothes in a month, I would have laughed in their faceSo I'm very happy but aiming for a no spend February :money:

New spends again this week, just can't stop seeing 'good deals'!
Placed an order of about £100 from urban outiftters (with 20% off code), will declare them once I decide what I'm keeping haha. I got loads of £8 tops and 2 £16 dresses, pair of black jeans etc0 -
I'm having a bad day
After only one wear my gorgeous boots have a tear in the leather on the side. They were only £6 but still
Or as my mam helpfully pointed out "They weren't £6 they were £36 but you used up your vouchers" Thanks mam, that made me feel much better :undecided
Then to top everything off my favorite bag broke too, the fastener holding the strap on has broken off but my dad thinks he can fix it
Hopefully nothing else will break!#84 Make £2020 in 2020 challenge
