Thanks for my number :j
I haven't spent any money yet but that will need to change very soon. Was walking in the snow earlier and realised that my trainers are no longer waterproof  Theres a hole in the sole (Ooo that rhymed) So I ended up with soaking, frozen feet and a pair of trainers that are now in the bin. Shoe shopping needed I think lol

On the other note, here is another tip from one of the books I read last year. If you must buy something make sure that at least it falls into one of these categories else it won't add value to your wardrobe as such.
Every woman, no matter the profession /occupation must own:
1. Something to wear at lunch with friends
2. Something to wear for business & interview
3. Something for a date
4. Something to wear for a black tie affair
What book is this Blogger? It sounds really good!
No46 £0 / £120!
Hooray! Had H&M catalogue arrive today, I had a quick look through it but surprisingly wasn't tempted by anything. Must make sure I cancel the delivery of that. I don't know about other people but I really struggle with temptation when I look at magazines etc. I have a large stash of magazines to read but can't face it at the moment as I am afraid that I will want to shop!0 -
Haven't bought anything yet, and i've just been through my wardrobe. Getting rid of a few dressed (including two i've never worn) and a couple of pairs of shoes down the charity shop0

It was called "Style Clinic: How to Look Fabulous All the Time, at Any Age, for Any Occasion"
Catalogues are tempting! It is so easy to order... well done for resisting it though0 -
Hi Everyone!
Just came to declare no spendI have been really good and spend nothing at all in January. My boots got a bit messy in the snow but I just treated them with shoe cream, shoe polish and a protector so they should be good to go. I promised myself that if I accomplish this challenge I would buy myself new boots in the next year January sales.
Does anyone know where to get a pair of leather shoe clips or just leather bows under £2 or £3? One of my shoes lost the bow but I did not notice where...So I thought I would buy leather bows and stick them instead. The shoes are ruined without it and can not be worn. I tried ebay but nothing...I'd like something like that but I can add studs myself if I can get a basic leather or faux leather bows.

Everything else can potentially go
Stay strong & do not give in!
Have you tried googling leather bow tutorial? If you could get hold of some scrap leather from a cobblers or saddlers or even ebay you could try to make them yourself with strong glue??
HTH
No spends here either - B'day next month so hoping some kind sole in family will give a gift card or two - most stuff in wardrobe is looking a little "grey" - and worn - too many things I bought second hand are now looking past their best but I wont replace until they fall off ( which I think will be pretty soon and hopefully not in public!:o)Crazy Clothes Challenge 2012 £57.20/£100,CCC 2013 £68.67/£100 ,CCC 2014 £94.32/£100

After my sister gave me 17 pairs of jeans the other day, my friend decided I needed 3 old (and too big) tops to wear with them! I'm so lucky to have such lovely friends. x0

debbiedeejay no, I have not actually. Good point as I have glue at home.
I discovered that I have £9.51 H&M voucher for something that was given to me as a gift and I returned it. Need to spend it on smth as it will expire soon. Sadly online shopping is not allowed with it. Does anyone know any central H&M shop which stocks house stuff? Like towels etc? I could use some towels...0 -
Don't forget everybody... tomorrow is Friday!
Freedom Friday Time!!
Now what will I free?
Tis tricky with snow (and, more importantly, ice) on the ground as my shoe choice is very limited! Otherwise I would definitely be wearing my red wool shorts with thick black tights, long sleeved tee and brogue-style boots. I haven't worn the shorts in a while, and I do love them!
Interestingly, I took a couple of bags of old worn clothes to the textile recycling the other week (after putting them in the car for two weeks to see if I missed anything) and while I was relieved to be rid of some tatty old bits, Mr Lotti got rather sad about it! He said it was strange as I'd had most of what was going for as long as we've known each other... it made me think about the associations we have with clothes.
Something to think about, especially as my aim in this challenge is to slim down my wardrobe and have nice things ready and available to wear, not just resort to the same old rubbish as it's too full to see what I have!“Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goals.”

Hello, I have not done this before and would like to join in. I wear a uniform provided by work and rarely go out so shouldn't need much this year, I would like to go with £300 for BOTH me and my teenage daughter. She often buys her own with birthday and christmas money my main expense for her is school shoes.
