Sorted one coat to go to the CS shop. That equals out the one I bought on Sunday. One in, one out. :j

Having to take things at an even pace at the moment (with pain etc) but still cracking on with decluttering the house :)

Well done on reaching your target OrangeFairy :j

I need to work out which two days in the next month or 2 I can have off to tackle the decluttering once and for all. I want to do it all in that time and even if things aren't physically gone from the house it will be enough that they are in piles ready to go.
Sounds like you have a plan FF :j Have you tried doing mini declutters like for 5 or 10 minutes? It's amazing what you can declutter in a short space of time :)

    Evening.

    5 parcels out today. 1 going tomorrow/thursday.
Sold a pair of boots to a friend and took them round this am (£20 im getting next week for said boots), she gave me a pair of jeans for DS to grow into so cancel each other out lol
Sorted out some bits in the living room, its actually quite tidy now! Still not fully decluttered or organised but definitely the nicest its looked in months!!
Attacked the hotspot near my microwave, mostly paperwork and letters - 50% straight in the bin and the rest got moved to the other hotspot to deal with tomorrow.
Pulled all the rubbish id shoved on top of my wardrobe down today, binned the rubbish, wrapped birthday presents up til i ran out of gift wrap, stored these in the space in the kids wardrobe up at the top where they are out of their reach :rotfl: put the kids memory box back and a bag of the husbands wires and 'stuff' to be deal with by him another day. Got a few bits still on the bed i will pop to one side and aim to look at tomorrow.

Not got anything done this evening as Evelyn has been very upset and clingy since her first injections this afternoon. So just chilling cuddling my little miss, reading MSE and munching dark chocolate!

Tomorrow i am decluttering a carrier bag of clothes and a large picture frame to MIL :)

Just freecycled 2 table lamps :j

It is nice to give things that are still useful to someone else, to help them out :)

Decluttering is a slow business for me, cos I work long hours and am exhausted at the end of most days, so small steps :)

Take a look at the book mountain next

It's a good feeling, isn't it? You have been very strong to resist temptation!
It is a good feeling, you're right. I have worked very hard these past 9 months to declutter and try not to buy things to replace those that have gone. I am still prone to temptation though - I'd still love that cable reel....!

DD's bedroom is now finished and I have got some before and after pics for you!!!
Well done, it looks lovely now. Hope she appreciates what you've done and makes an effort to keep it like that!

Baby steps here today as I was out socialising at the library this morning, then helping a friend dismantle wardrobes this afternoon.

Decided to dig out a lap quilt that I started in March 2009 for hubby; every year since I've promised him that I'll finish it either for his birthday or Christmas. Today I took it to the library and worked on it. Decided I didn't like the wadding and backing so when I got home I unpicked all the quilting that I'd done and have now backed it with a fleece. So I've got to do all the quilting again, but I think it will be much easier doing it through 1 layer than 2 layers.

Got rid of some aluminium cans and foil dishes that had been in the garden storage box since the summer; a friend picked them up tonight.

Also have been brave and courageous and let go of a gift box that I had 2011's Christmas present in. A couple of pairs of earrings, that were in a little pouch, then put in the box. I don't wear earrings any more but I can't quite let go of the earrings and if they're in the pouch they take up less room than the box. So the box has gone in charity shop bag and the earrings will stay for the meantime.

An Amazon box and loads of bubble wrap and packing went to friend whose wardrobes we dismantled. She's moving next week so wanted it to wrap her glassware/crockery.

    Every little helps....

    51. 3 bags of aluminium taken by friend
    52. Gift box - charity bag
    53. Amazon box and bubble wrap & packaging - friend

Had a phone call today from the estate agent: someone is coming to view the house Friday morning, so I am going to be spring cleaning for the next 2 days getting the house in order!!!

(Sorry for the long post... I do tend to waffle once I get started!)
Keep Calm and Carry On Kondoing

I love the 'one in, one out' plan!

Need to stick to that I think :)
