Well I never there is laminate flooring in the junk room. The kids are fed so have carried on a little bit with the decluttering and found the floor, sorted out my old work paper work into one box, sorted all the wrapping paper back into one box and had a general tidy up in the room and can report:-
    6. Frank Sinatra CD - CS bag.
    7. 3 large novelty paper clips - donated to school for table prizes.
    8. 3 cardboard packaging boxes - recycling
    9. 1 large reusable bag for life emptied of random ‘gibble’
    10. Calenders recycled 2012 and 2005!!!!! and new one put up
    11. 1 non working leap-pad - bin
    12. A HUGE bag of saved packaging - recycling.

But then I always do start things with a blast and then kind of fizzle out :rotfl:.

  • To declutter my toiletries I'm trying to use every single shower gel, body lotion, etc, instead of buying any new ones. When I moved in with my bf he was horrified at how many toiletries I had xD
What I've read so far has been really inspirational! Can't wait to start!

Second lot of decluttering for me today:

    Dead plant and pot
    Broken cycle helmet
    Book ends
    Vase
    Candle
    After sun lotion
Lots of out of date medicines, tablets and garlic capsules
Tablets for my old cat that passed away 2 years ago

Now my bin is chock a block, think might have to ask the neighbours if they've got space in theirs (hopefully they won't mind, as we didn't complain about their all night New Year's Party).

Someone took away a box of Lego sets and someone is going to take in the big boxes of toys that is making the dinning room impossible to go into. I decluttered some Christmas items and out a bag in the charity shop pile, my wonderful friend came over to help with my crazy inbox (I have severe M.E which restricts what I can do big time and this includes using the laptop), my friend sifted through and deleted over 8000 junk mails, and is planning on returning!

  • First day back to work so not much done today ....got tomorrow am free and only 1 toddler at home so gonna do a ruthless clear out of downstairs .... been hanging on to 'might be useful one-day' stuff for years....aim to fill a bin bag for cs and give us a bit of space . Dh put a load of toys in the attic yesterday but I'm wondering is this decluttering or hoarding? He said there were 30 boxes of kids stuff there now including 4 buggies! After baby 3 arrives gonna sort it into boy/girl and cs what we won't use. I, m really annoyed at myself for buying so much baby stuff I never used the half of it!
No more toys til Xmas 2022 , mfw 2023 challenge , Trying to not waste food , time or money and appreciate the moment more!
