Rain has stopped play in the garden before I even started
I surpose it was a daft thought in December anyway
I'll just have to do Flylady for Friday instead, so at least it will be productive. I'll see what I can declutter along the way and report back0 -

I'll see you later to report back :j
Back reporting for duty :T
This 15 minute declutter stash includes:
1. Using up a linen spray
2. Using up an OOD essential oil, by putting a few drops in the sink and adding some water
3.4. Tops to go off to the charity shop later. Both unflattering.
5. Emptying the bathroom bin and removing rubbish from the windowsill
6. Recycling some packaging
How's everyone else getting on? :jDeclutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

I need to join aswell.
Have already 'unsubscribed' from loads of crap emails, so trying to de junk my inbox.
Next step is to change to online statements to try and cut down on paper, seem to drown under it.
My 2 boys age 10 and 13 have also become hoarders so am trying to stop them before they get all my bad ways.
I am no longer able to work due to illness, so should have time to sort it! Although do suffer from brain fog and terrible fatigue.
My aim is to throw away at least one thing a day, and deal with post as soon as it arrives, or on that day.
Wish me look and fingers crossed.
My green bin is already full and they are missing a collection so might have to make a trip to tip.0 -
I've just tried to de-clutter the bathroom cupboard but everything is in date. pah!
I did declutter the last bit of a bottle of cream bath into the soap dispenser. I spilt most of it down the side so that helped a lot!
The bottle had been standing upside down on the windowsill for a week now. So its finally gone. :T
Will look out for further things whilst I am flying and report back.0 -
Currently decluttering some parsnips into soup. Then have a metal plant stand that I am painting to resell. OH is fixing a chest that will also be painted later, so a couple of bits going out tomorrow.
Going to tackle my pile of books upstairs. I will never read some of them, so they have to go.
Very tempted to take down the tree and decorations, but should really leave until after the New Year. You're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
I'm up for a declutter later this afternoon - I'm going to tackle the baking cupboard which is stuffed to the gills. I only ever seem to use a bit of flour for sauces, so either I'll have a baking bonanza this weekend (lemon drizzle loaves to freeze in slices) or clear out colonies of weevils. Anything I save I'll add to the food stocktake on my spreadsheet."Save £12k in 2019" #120 - £100,699.57/£100,0000

Thanks Tiglath, I emptied all the hand wash bottles into the ceramic handpumps by the sink, which have never had anything in, cannot understand why I would do that, lazy I suppose? Then looked under sink for any cleaning product that was nearly empty, found polish so, whatever was left used up by doing a quick dust of downstairs, great! Then (gently reminded) teenagers to remove packaging from some presents, toiletries, boxers etc and gve them a bin bag. Decided to tackle bedside drawers......omg, I have found 3 mobile fones, £3.20 in copper, newspaper cuttings from 1999 when kids got a small mention in local paper, curtain hooks, buttons, sweet wrappers and a letter from the queen mum and enough paracetamol to last me 10 years, off to the tip now. Thanks for motivating me and apologies for long post xx. Have a good day!2013 January GC £264.27/:(£250
