Re did the fridge and freezer inventory which is what I use as a meal plan so thats all organised now.

De-cluttered a small drawer in the kitchen. Got rid of an empty dried fruit bag. I kept it as it had a receipe on the back which looked easy. I've got loads of books as it is so there was no need to keep that  :o

Also got rid of oudles of elastic bands and cellophane which came with a kit of wax circles for jams and marmalade. I do make jam but don't use the cellophane and bands so why didn't I just get rid at the time.

    Hello all!!

I would love to join again....i let the house slip a little since starting to work full time in August.

I am going to do the 300 in Jan challenge....but I am starting today as I want to crack on.

I decided to start with my underwear drawer! SO all un-comfy bras, holey socks and tights and worn knickers are gone! :p

    so....

    1-33 - underwear

Just over 10% done- would like to start on the kitchen later.

    Good luck everyone! x

Christmas decorations all down. Looks so much clearer. We normally keep them until the new year but decided to do it today. Sorted a box of decs to go to the charity shop. Many of them store these for the next year (if they have room).

Don't forget about charity shops/Freecycle/Freegle/ leaving awkward stuff like furniture outside your house with a sign saying FREE, friends, ebay - all for helping to get rid of stuff. Also if you have old clothes I put them in a bag labelled - rag bag - for the charity shop to sell to the rag bag man. So at least those bits raise a bit of money and are recycled too.

    :j
:) Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

How's everyone else getting on? :j

my 15 mins was spent doing under the sink - lots of 'spare' washing powder dosers and a few virtually empty cleaning bottles.

Under the stairs is still beckoning me - it's not too bad just needs more of a tidy than anything. Hope there's no spiders lurking:eek:

Plus I might do some paperwork decluttering too later.
    Do what you love :happyhear

    Hi
I would like to join in this year. I have 'stuff' that just gets moved about because it has no proper home so just gets moved from table to worktop to shelf to table etc...

This is me all over. I live by "piles", these piles then get moved from the living room table, to the shelves and finally upstairs to a bigger pile. Its not good.

I'm rejoining this thread. I made great inroads earlier this year. Then my house sale fell through and I kind of stopped caring. However, as I REALLY want to move this year then I need to clear out again. :D
How long til pay day?
    March Grocery Challenge - £69.54 / £300
  • Well since I last posted I've decluttered the bathroom a bit and spent this morning decluttering books - 3 boxes all done up and ready for the charity shop (they're in the car and everything!). Thank you all for the motivation. Next job is to sort the Tupperware and get rid of all the lids with no boxes and boxes with no lids :)
  • Productive day here. Two items painted and due to go out for sale tomorrow. Seven items listed on eBay, and more to follow

OH is bringing boxes down from upstairs and sorting them. :T
You're only young once, but you can be immature forever :D
  • This sounds like exactly the thing for me! I'm a student, but I finish in June, and I've spent 3 and a half years accumulating stuff - which will have to be moved further than around the corner this time  I can't start until Monday though, when I get back. But if I post this I might actually start!
