A big thank you :T to charlies_mum for starting the thread again for 2013.
I'm looking forward to learning lots from you all and hope to get some good motivation.
At the moment, my life's possessions are (mostly) sitting around me in sealed boxes; some of them have gone to the 'new flat' and the remainder will go in the morning. It's just that it all feels as though it's all moving along far too fast for me to keep up at the moment .............. and not sure if I'll get to bed tonight. Will have to try to catch a couple of hours on the sofa later on.
My phone connection/broadband will shortly be getting turned off completely, so this will probably be my last posting for quite a few days. The new connection has been ordered and should restart next week - but the broadband won't happen immediately. I'll be back into the thread as soon as I can.
In the meantime, good luck to everybody and hope we all get the New Year off to a flying start with a small effort, if not a big one.and best wishes from Lilyplonk xxx0 -
Good luck with the move, Lily, see you in the New YearEarly retired - 18th December 2014

I've had a browse in the kiddies wardrobes, DS is growing so couple of nursery trousers for charity bag, and DD got some new vests for Xmas so the grotty ones are out. They have so many clothes it's untrue. It's not me that buys them...
I ought to check my own wardrobe again too, although I had a huge cull earlier this year...Bossymoo

Talking of decluttering i will also be decluttering my email box at work which has been the bane of 2012. Using the four Ds - delete, deal with if can do in less than 2 minutes, delegate (as for deal with), defer. Add to that moving office end of jan 2013 it's gonna be a year of new habitsMrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025

I am in for 2013, I have stuff everywhere still and we just agreed to have new windows fitted early in 2013 so need to have some room to move stuff away from windows. I was doing well but DS came home between jobs and we have loads of his stuff in boxes when he goes home after New Year he is taking it with him. We are starting in the loft tomorrow getting rid of all the boxes from stuff we no longer have...0

Can I join you too please?
I am hoping to move back to England in 2013 so only want to pay to move the stuff I need or love. It could be a big job though!0 -

With my personal emails every time something new pops up in my inbox, I consider whether I enjoy emails from that company. If not, I've been unsubscribing or changing mailing preferences to keep the relevant bits and curb the carp.
Now that I'm an avid Pinterest-er, I'm also slowly tackling my internet favourites.

As usual, I need to sign up to this thread please! I did get rid of loads last year, but there's plenty left to deal with!
Am thinking of choosing a set number of items to clear each week at present.
Best of luck, everyone!Resolution:

I started to do that too most of my emails on my personal account were trying to sell me something LOL0 -
Glad to have a new thread to keep us all going, thanks!
Today I went through my manicure case and threw out loads of things that I never use - now it's down to just the few things that I use again and again. I found a box of verruca patches in there despite never having had a verruca in my adult life that I can think of, and also despite the contents having expired in 2006. Sheesh. I don't know where I got them from but they're in the bin now!0
