I use those, they are good arn't they. We store our summer clothes in them. Obviously, thats where our summer things are now and although I can store the bag under our bed as its a bed on legs. I don't like too, it still counts as clutter(I did say I hated it) so we keep ours in the loft.

I'd like to join in too. My goal is 365 things to declutter in 2013. So far (I know its early) is 1. Hoping I can make some money from my decluttering as need the cash as job hunting at the moment and the umbrella company I used stuffed up my last pay.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0

Hello new threadDFW Total £21,800 to clear by Dec 2022
MFW Total £184,950 £179,066 to clear by 20350 -
Can I join please.
I'd love to start doing a bit of decluttering in our house. The boys are older now (13 & 9) and into i-touches/laptops/xbox etc so need to sort out the 'toy cupboard' and either give them to friends with younger kids/ebay them or car boot in the better weather.
Need to sort wardrobes, but never quite get around to it, so am hoping that by joining in, I will get the motivation to finally get it done.
A recycling clothes place has just opened up locally, paying 50p a kilo (every little helps), so I think this will be the motivation I need to takle the mountain of clothes we have. Now I've type it out, I will make a start tomorrow.2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family. It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,0000 -
I was decluttering as I spring cleaned each room in the run up to Christmas, just the old kitchen (now occasional bedroom) to go now. I have a huge plastic box of stuff to ebay but I'm not sure when to put it on (I gave up ebaying about a week before Christmas as I figured folk wouldn't be buying if they couldn't guarantee delivery before Christmas.) I don't know if now is a good time (if everyone was given money for Christmas!) or whether to wait 'til everyone has had their January paypacket!Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)
December £361.54, November £322.28, October £288.52, September £374.30, August £223.95, July £71.45, June £251.22, May£119.33, April £236.24, March £106.74, Feb £40.99, Jan £98.54) Total for 2017 - £2,495.100 -
I would just list the things if it was me. With regards to pay packets it varies so much. I used to get paid weekly, OH monthly. Now OH still gets paid monthly and I get paid every four weeks, so mine ends up at varying dates throughout the month.
At least you will feel better once its listed anyway0 -
A lovely decluttered thread...:j
My bedroom is totally decluttered now. Fitted wardrobes coming in three weeks, then the new carpet and so on. I have found the process really good and feel that I can move from cluttered to tidy to almost minimalist which will make me really happy.
Clutter in the living room is composed of three sets of drawers from the bedroom and assorted stuff waiting to go into the new wardrobes. And the usual Christmas cards/tree and stuff which will go on 06 January.
Love this thread as it helps me keep focussed on the removal of stuff.
Good luck to everyone here.
