Made a small dent in decluttering the house before Christmas, but I know how quickly all that good work can be undone, so I'd like to join this challenge please in the hope that I can reclaim my house for good! :D

Everyone is doing terribly well, really invigorating to see so much being done.

I am planning in a HUGE declutter next week: the cooker :eek::eek: because my body is rubbish and hubby has been seriously poorly, the muck has built up. It is disgusting :o I am so ashamed, so, going to get the cooker shifted out and then scrub scrub scrub with very hot water and detergent, and if ANYTHING is spillt after that you will read about the murder in the newspapers! :rotfl:

    We're getting there :T

Checking in again - I've sorted out a small amount of old gold jewellery that I'm going to sell - it's just been sitting in boxes for years and years ...

Other than that I've 'decluttered' the muck out of the bottom of the now empty food waste recycling bin  - horrible job!

Just a thought - if there are any bits of gold that you have that have a real sentimental value have them made into something else you would like & wear. I had my Grandads old signet ring & my mothers wedding ring made into another ring that I wear all the time instead of it just being 'scrap' gold.

    'Outs' today
    5 glossy magazines to neighbour
    5/6 books to CS
    8 books returned to friend

    In's
1 set of plastic drawers for my wardrobe to hold swimming costumes, scarves etc so I know where they all are!
1 top from CS (but I will donate a few in exchange!)

Wardrobe clearout set for tomorrow :D
Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle

    Hi everyone,

One lamp has just been picked up by a free cycler and the last present from under the tree has been delivered.

Also I have posted a DVD to my parents.

So that's 3 things gone today.

    Happy decluttering everyone.:)
