  • Finally cracked on with decluttering the pantry and kitchen cupboards

1 binliner full of rubbish/out of date tins and chipped pots etc
1 bag full off carriers, will take to recycle box at mr T's
1 bag of plastic tubs, glass bottles for the recycling.

Now going to have lunch then tackle the Downstairs loo and outhouse, not alot to do in either rooms as not long decorated so they are clutter free so just a quick clean and whip the hoover round so hopefully have time to make a start on the bureau, I'm fed up of all the contents falling out everytime I open the door on it.

  • Downstairs loo has been given a good clean, new toilet mat been put down, Dh has just put the shelf up so I have somewhere to store the loo rolls, also hung a few pictures on the wall to make it look abit more homely
Out house has been hoovered, shelves have been polished, hooks for our outdoor coats

    out:

Half a bin bag of paperwork out the bureau is waiting to be shredded so it can go to my friend for her to use for her guinea pigs bedding area.

Empty camping stove gas cannister ... binned
Half a bag of barley rings, given to a friend.

Think that will do for today, tomorrow I'll start sifting through the stuff in the dining room and under the stairs.

Hello :D I have been MIA for a while as I was ill and then this week I have been ridiculously busy. Sadly that has meant that the house has started to slide back again, so tomorrow I start afresh with the decluttering!

Work been very busy so not much decluttering but every little helps

    15. Travel size moisturiser used up
    16. Travel size toiletry used up
    17. Face mask used up
    18. 19. 20. 21. DVDs

Pleased to see all the little odd toiletries being used up. Will do a charity run this week to get rid of the latest batch of donations.

Work still so busy so hardly any decluttering. Every teeny tiny little helps.
Still focusing on using odd toiletries.
Will try and make a fresh start this weekend.

Great to read everyone's progress :j

  • This will be the last weekend of decluttering at mum's - she moves house on Monday. Wish me luck!

They moved in 28 years ago - from a 5 bed detached. They thought they had got rid of enough stuff. They hadn't - and it took 2 removal vans to move them just round the corner.

This time we have been hard at work. And I think we might, just, have got rid of enough stuff.

Last time I helped with the unpacking - and it was hell! This time my sister gets to do it and it will be a substantially easier job...

Back here on Monday, to recommence the decluttering of my own house!
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j
