There are two sacks of general bits by the front door, we are moving soon so need to be ruthless:j
Threw out/donated gave away some clothes, coats and shoes. Used up a few toiletries, donated towels to the vets. Gave a bag of tinned food to the food bank. Gave some childrens clothes to my friend who gives them to children who need them at the school where she works.
Still a long way to go, although I am getting there, will try to post here more to get tips and motivation.A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.
Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.

Got rid of a couple of childhood things today. Was very hard but they were gathering dust so hardly being loved. Not worth anything much so they've been donated to charity.
I have 3 bags of stuff to sort through. I'm trying not to cheat by simply moving them to another room
If I can finish this room and make a similar impact in other rooms I will be a very happy bunnyDeclutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

WELL! Unexpectedly landed a new job :j and this will mean a sudden and fairly swift move of house. It was always on the cards but for early spring of 2014... and now it's in about six weeks time.
So, major move on decluttering. As everything will need to go into storage for a few months I am not taking rubbish/unwanted stuff with us. Ordered packing boxes already.
I anticipate a large number of trips to the tip and charity shops. Have been unloading stuff to friends but am running out of options there really.
My motivation levels have suddenly increased hugely. As I'm still in my current job time is tight. Don't care. I am so very pleased.
Ruthless mode engaged. :rotfl:0 -

Gers well done on the new job and the renewed movitation to declutter now you have a deadline. (i think id panic and do less)SPC~12 ot 124

De cluttered the whole bathroom this morning. Emptied 5 plastic tubs and sorted the contents to varies places i.e cs, friends and community centre. Donated the said 5 tubs to a neighbour who is moving. Tidied the bedroom and now am in a position to declutter all bedroom drawers then a good sort out of clothes again. Can't believe how motivated I am at the moment. Hope it lasts lolDeclutter 2005. 32/20250

I moved just over a month ago to a small flat so had a big declutter then, but not enough. Still got some boxes of stuff to chuck or find homes for *sigh*.
Got rid of a load of paperbacks today though, around 20 of them, some I'd sold (along with a DVD) and the rest to charity shop (they've already had nearly 150 books from me when I moved!).
Really have to sort the rest so a little bit every day from now on, I hope.[STRIKE][/STRIKE]I am a long term poster using an alter ego for debts and anything where I might mention relationship problems or ex.
