  • Not a lot this week, as I went back to work at start of the week after a weeks holiday.

The paper "to be shredded" pile has grown a bit after going through 2 filing boxes & a A4 box file.

An Amazon sale posted yesterday (20 min wait in queue for the post office)

Pile of emails deleted & snail mail junk mail put into recycling bin

    Bathroom bin now emptied.

    Hi everyone

Have just about caught up with all posts, well done to all successes, keep on going to everyone else we will get there :)

I've been struggling this week, minimal sorting and decluttering done, as things seem to have caught up with me and I've been really low.

Just about kept up with the washing, basic housework and food shop yesterday but it's been tough.

Have posted a few things on G'tree so will see what happens there. Few more bits in the CS bag to go next week.

    Keep warm this weekend.

    AFB

Edit to say Yeay I've just got my first star :D

flyingmama Yes I love to watch that programe too, I feel better when I see the really cluttered house but not so good when I see the tidy ones.

Not much decluttered this week as I have been fighting something off
and won :j I felt poorly for a couple of days. I did declutter my sewing box, so now I.ve got a nice tidy one that I can find things in :) few bits & pieces went in bin. 2 bobbbins to DD2 that fit the sewing machine I passed on to her when I got a new one a few years ago.

A few magazines newspapers have been passed to DD2 or in rc.

Hope you all have a good weekend whatever you do.

Various car park tickets, receipts & rubbish cleared from car.
If the weather stays dry might even give it a vacuum :D
If it doesn't I'll wash the kitchen floor :T
Is that a 'win win' situation?????

I feel pleased with myself today! I have defrosted 2 freezers and written an inventory list of what we have got in them. This is a great achievement.

I have also filled a bag with magazines to give to MIL which will hopefully leave the house soon.

Have a nice weekend everyone and happy decluttering.

Moving office this week so final declutter of office will be tuesday pm
Inbox empty :D this is marvellously liberating. I've got 3 folders @action, @pending and @reading. First 2 are as per toothbrush principle, third was my idea last week cos my action folder was filling with things i might or might not read but arent crucial. If anything is in here 3 weeks it'll get binned.
Today's job is finish decluttering back bedroom. Really surprised me the other day -had forgotten it has a floor lol

Not managed to got onto MSE this week as THE BUILDERS HAVE TAKEN OVER OUR HOUSE!!

Not much been decluttered this week as the building site has taken over our lives.
    OUT
-small carrier to CS (couple of kids toys, one random knitting needle (that they were happy to take!), mobile handsfree kit and some other small bits.
-ebay 5 parcels out (including one big one - child safety gate :j)
-DH made a start of clearing out the study, which will soon be demolished to make way for the extension. Some paperwork, magazines and brochures to RC
    -broken kids umbrella - bin

    PENDING
-ebay one large mirror pending as due to be collected this weekend
-listed a couple more kids toys on ebay whilst tidying the playroom yesterday
-four carrier bags full ready of all sorts of stuff for my Dad. I must organise seeing him next week as I'd quite like my hall back
-Old tin of floor polish - need to take this to my neighbour to see if she would like it, otherwise bin

Just trying to catch up on the washing today. On third load but it's all going in the tumbler as it is just too wet out plus I don't have anywhere to hang it due to the mud pit that was our patio :rotfl:

I must get some ironing done too - DD just told me so (she is 5!) :o

Loads of decluttering today. Back room cupboard done, back bedroom just has the book shelves to go, and have made a really good start on room of doom. Bin full, loads of stuff for the charity shop, loads of paper for rc. Still a way to go but i can see the light at the end of the tunnel (or more to the point floor space rofl)

    Evening all
Just trying to think what I have decluttered today?

1 bag of house hold rubbish in bin
    wood onto the coal/wood fire
took some buttons off an old nightdress to be used on knitting.

I am cooking dinners from the 5ft freezer this week. We only have one freezer, any more would be using electric just to hoard food.
It is quite nice to have space to move items around in the freezer drawers.Easier to see what I have than jam packed.
The secret to success is making very small, yet constant changes.:)

    Good Morning Everyone :hello:

Very poor effort over the last 3 days but today has got off to a good start.
1 more food container in the bin. 3 items sold on ebay packed and ready to post later. And my ex flat mate is coming round to pick up a box of stuff she left so that'll get that out of the way.

Jobs for today: 2, maybe 3 loads of laundry to do. Bins to empty. Spare room reorganized to see exactly what I have. Mail put into some sort of order. Oh and I have to fit in a visit to my Mam to wish her a happy Mother's day.

Must have a cup of tea first.
