Morning all declutterers
Rebooted washing machine with sheets.
Decluttered emails and junk box
Oh has made planshe is being a banker = counting a lot of loose change for adult DD.
My plans = remove the deep fat fryer from the kitchen counter. Emptied and washed out yesterday. It does not get used enough to grant it space.
Put some paper in recycle bin along with junk mail.
Sort out chains = jewelry and clean.
Ironing done today in the conservatory wile watching more washing dry on the line
Add more later...The secret to success is making very small, yet constant changes.:)0 -
Yesterday we trimmed 2 large bushes in the front garden. :DWe wanted to make the drive clearer for when the builders are here. They were quite large bushes - down to small stumps now - so decluttered. :j
Then Mr F opened the garage - there was some - I think it was plywood and a cupboard unit - he found wombling and stuffed in there. We put them out against the front wall - unit has gone!Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Baby steps achieved today after work:
* Read my personal emails, responded to 2 and deleted the rest.
* Run updates on my computer and got rid of 20 viruses.
* Deleted all my "sent" text messages.
* Running short of coffee beans this week so I am using up my instant Italian Roast coffee sachets from Starbucks this week. I find they are too strong to add straight to a cup so this morning I put 2 sachets in a flask with sugar and milk and this tastes so much better. Hopefully the whole packet will be gone by the end of the week.
The plan for this weekend is to defrost the fridge / freezer and hopefully do some more work in the garden. No toiletries challenge, started 18/1/2010 - Putting £1 in my savings jar for every item that I use up. Pot 1 to 4 = £261. Pot 5=£23
Boots points:£39.21. Extra money in 2012:£674.59. In 2013 £603.48. 2014: £85. 2015: £0 :j0 -
Sorted pre pregnancy clothes and decluttered 10 items I know I won't wear again for cs bag . sorted toiletries in bathroom and put several doubles into bag for holidays ... We going away for a month in June so will need plenty with us. Decluttered makeup box put doubles away to be used when I need to replace things... Rather than buying new! Got a call from baby goods consignment shop today they have sold my stuff! Will try take a few more items we don't use... Would probably make more on e*ay but I hav the worst luck with non payers and people trying to rip me off have decided not to use anymore as it has cost me more money and time! Have set myself a challenge to declutter 10 items a day and not make any purchases of toys clothes or unnecessary household items ... "Do I need it? Can I live without it?" This months motto! No more toys til Xmas 2022 , mfw 2023 challenge , Trying to not waste food , time or money and appreciate the moment more!0

No time to do anything today. Left the house at 7:40am and got home at 9:50pm. Had tea with SIL while bro was playing football, usual Tuesday routine.
Used up a roll of wrapping paper. That's as far as my decluttering efforts go today.
Will do better tomorrow. I plan on sorting plastic takeaway containers and I have quite a lot which is strange since I hardly ever eat takeaways. Many are cracked or have lids that won't fit. It should clear a bit of space in the cupboard.Starting mortgage balance 22/04/2013 £71,250
Overpayments to date £410

Have managed to declutter a few bits and bobs around the house into either the bin, recycling or my "new" Car boot crate!
A couple of broken ornaments from the garden went straight in the bin so am pleased with efforts so far this month especially as now on steroids & more antibiotics (been poorly since Xmas)
robedha1 don't fret if you've not done as much as you'd like to, you'll get there!I've had to do bits as & when I feel well enough even though it's frustrating the hell out of me & I can see so much more to do...
flyingmamma I don't really use e-bay for selling anymore, far to many charges and I don't seem to make much. The Post Office is also planning on raising the parcel fees (by quite a bit so I'm told) in April (?) so it will soon no longer be worth it as most of the items sold will be out done by the postage fees (or peeps won't want to pay the extra)...
Keep up all the good work, it helps me be motivated by just reading all your efforts (even when I'm actually unable to do much myself) x :T"There's a little witch in all of us"🔮🪬🧿DEBT FREE 06/2018Mrs SD’s Decluttering 2025 ⭐️ 🥇🥇🥇0 -

Meagre on the decluttering. Did use up the last of a shower gel yesterday & the last of the liquid cleaner when I cleaned the bathroom afterwards!
Some odds & sods for the CS - Books, Skirt.
I also decluttered the box that my freecycle mincer came in - it was quite large with a polystyrene liner for all the bits - box now in the bin & mincer & bits fit beautifully into an old margarine tub - nice & tidy in my kitchen cupboardSmall victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0
