Visited a pal with 4 kids the other day and was amazed at how tidy and clutter free the house was.... Noticed she has no cushions on sofa and v little furniture.... Came home and binned my throw cushions which ds throws on the floor all day long... I pick them up all day long.... Lounge looks instantly better!
hubby still on pat leave and now that I'm bac on my feet he needs to be bac to work.... Starting to clutter the place!!! Going to declutter kitchen now.... We hav a bowl on the fridge that I chuck everything into.... Hav decided to get rid of the bowl and that way I won't be tempted! Gonna try ds on booster seat at dinning table so we can get rid of high chair! Takes up soooo much space! Spring is coming..... Making plans for a blitz on the house!

Sewing box decluttered this afternoon. Had to amalgamate my lates mums sewing box into mine (found in the loft yesterday). I came across a beautiful Beatrix Potter type tin in there that when I was young had fudge in it and was given to me at Easter - I remember this well - it was so lovely to see it again and how mum had kept this tin for using as a button store. I have well and truly kept that. Wonderful memories
Found some of those plug in the wall socket freshner things. Well past their best - chucked :jCat, Dogs and the Horses are our fag and beer money:beer:

Well I have decided to sort my laptops out! I got a new one (old one is 6 years old and rather poorly
)
So I have been going through pictures and deleting ones that not any good, blurry etc..
Also sorted out 3 email addresses!! between the 3 I deleted over 7000 unread emails! some back from 2010!! :$
Old laptop is now ready to go to live with my brother and be used for recording laptimes etc when he is racing"Aunty C McB-Wik"
"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO, What a Ride!"

Decluttered fridge door chucked several old magnets and discoloured photos... Makes the kitchen look a tad better... Removed high chair to attic too nice to hav a bit of space... Still feel like we hav too much stuff ... Corners seem to accumulate laptop bags... Chargers... Shoes... Every room in the house has corners filled with stuff.... Mostly my DH's ... Actually all his! Don't want to nag as we hav v little storage space and he likes his gadgets...trying to find a solution ... Wanted to avoid more furniture as we hav limited space and think we would fill it with clutter!No more toys til Xmas 2022 , mfw 2023 challenge , Trying to not waste food , time or money and appreciate the moment more!0

Thanks. Have done this many a time with a silver tea set and other items. Till I got fed up cleaning the silver and put it in a cupboard.
The bought silver dip is for jewellery.The secret to success is making very small, yet constant changes.:)0 -
Not a lot of decluttering today.
Used a bathbomb that's been lying around for ages. It turned the water yellow :eek: I think it was honey one, label had faded so much I couldn't read it. Also finished off a face wash.
Spend some time writing a letter and printing information for my mortgage application. I'm sure they should already have/know this. So annoying, it feels like little progress is being made.
Won't get much done tomorrow, if anything. I won't get home until about 10pm.Starting mortgage balance 22/04/2013 £71,250
Overpayments to date £410
Current mortgage balance £70,6500
